No need to be mean to each other, but I think it's not a good idea. You can't sue a hacker for using a hacking software to grab a couple of Gold Boxes or winning a battle and earning two or three hundred more crystals and ask the judge for a lot of money in damages.

 

The hacking software developers and enablers are the ones responsible for all the small damages. Those are the ones that maybe Tanki could sue and ask for a lot of damages.

your idea is also valid. however, the purpose of my idea is to deter others from hacking, getting profit is sort of a secondary purpose. your idea might deter people from creating more hacking softwares but it's not going to deter players from hacking with existing softwares.

You have good intentions, and while this idea does portray them, I believe it's not really the way to go. Hacking cannot be prevented as easily as it can be punished, I mean there's always going to be new hacks and players using them in more sneaky ways. We can however, report anything that we suspect as hacks, and tanki could easily take away all the benefits they've reaped from using such software. I think they've done something like this before, but it was a pretty long time ago, where they distributed the rewards the hackers obtained to all the loyal players in tanki.
