Replace Supply Rewards with Supply Currency

What you're describing is what I've already suggested, minus the batteries. I've already explained why 1:1 ratio is better. What if they wanted increase the price of a RK? They can't make it 3 and bit can they?

Buy/Activate/currency/energy units: just semantics.

Batteries should be kept separate as these are automatically used without a key press.

Yes, it's your same idea. I just think tokens and the idea of another currency would be confusing.

 

If we go with units and they want to change the prices they just make units more expensive or cheaper, or make supplies weaker or stronger.

 

I want to include batteries and for those to consume 1 unit every 10 seconds so we can save on units, because we are not getting the benefits of batteries from the last minute consumption, or when we join a battle and decide to leave soon after. 1 every 10 seconds is equal to 6 every minute, which is equal to 300 crystals. But it's your idea, so I'll leave it there.

Tokens, (or whatever they will be called), would be the items used as a medium of exchange, ie currency. They're being exchanged for a supply in the game.

 

There is no need for the added complexity. 1:1 is as simple as it gets. No need for conversions etc. We all understand a Nitro costs 50. No need to change it.  Increasing the price of your units would mean all supplies would have to increase in price. That means you couldn't increase the price of RK's on their own.

 

There is no need to add batteries to this idea yet, especially one that is so confusing and hard to understand. If you want to suggest an idea that would improve batteries then suggest it in a separate suggestion, not here please.

 

Drones are relatively new and batteries are expensive. This idea is to ensure everyone has the supplies they want when they need them. Batteries could easily deplete your Tokens in a short space of time leaving you with no supplies at all. This should be avoided in my opinion.

Sure. I was just explaning my idea, so maybe you could incorporate it to yours. If not it's okay, your idea is still good.

I'd like to further expand on this idea by saying that Tanki should create a whole new pop-up window, like the shop (which would be renamed Premium shop) where these tokens can be spent.

 

If you could earn these tokens from containers, weekly missions and challenge rewards, they could then be spent in this window to buy supplies and cosmetic items such as garage paints, shop paints and animated paints (legendary rewards in containers) and possibly even XT items (though these would be very expensive).

 

Tanki could possibly double token rewards if you have Premium or something to make it more their while.

That's why I said they can't be traded.

I intended this suggestion to combat one specific problem area and wanted it to apply only to supplies and to ensure everyone has any supply available whilst in credit. If we start including other items then we will have some players without supplies. Whether or not another currency for the things you mention would be welcome is for another suggestion.

I primarily support this. Health packs are so goddamn expensive, and they are always the ones I and many others want to use the most, but can't. This would actually put some reason to buying supplies, because right now, buying them is only for people who make purchases. Buying supplies is extremely inefficient with crystals. If you get tokens instead and get to choose which supplies to buy, that would actually work pretty well if supplies are the only thing you CAN buy with tokens.

 

 

Well we should all get behind it. If it hurts their pockets too much, I would be willing to increase the prices of supplies slightly in order to have the right supplies at my disposal at the right time. I'm sure there is a comprimise somewhere.

NO! This cannot hurt their pockets. I don't see why anyone would buy any supplies individually. You buy them via shop or in packs. They are expensive as is, health packs especially. They are not worth buying individually period. If you buy, you buy cheaper packs, if you don't buy, you just collect and use more strategically or not at all. For all intents and purposes, the supplies should be much cheaper, honestly. There's plenty of stuff to buy in garage that's actually worth money and time, supplies are not, it's a loss for anyone who does.

Repair kits are the one's to go first for any competitive player. They're kept in short supply deliberately. That said, I do buy them individually during 50% sales and double funds. There is no point buying a 1500 supplies bundle in the shop when I'm only wanting one thing from them. Why do I want to increase my 40000 speed boosts to 41500.

Off topic:

3 currencies would be even better:

1 for equipments
1 for supplies (power ups)
1 for cosmetics (so instead of getting Storm paint we get a certain number of cosmetic currency units and we decide how to spend it)

I fully support this idea.

 

At least it would stop the insanity of what I got for doing over 150 stars yesterday: 125 SB, 4x 125 DD and 7k crystals.

If the container rewards can't be made random so that you only collect different items per container, then yes a currency is a fairer option.

You sound like my Dad. If he needed 4 bolts, 4 washers and 4 nuts, he would buy a gross of each because they are cheaper by the gross. Buying them individually, they would cost 4 cents apiece, but if bought in a gross they would be 2 cents apiece. Didn't matter if he would never use a gross in a lifetime.
