Firefox Problems

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else having problems with the newest version of Firefox, 65.0?  I have two computers that will now no longer launch games since they updated the program today.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled, did a clean install, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash, nothing works on either computer.

Thanks for any suggestions on how to fix.

Strange... try to contact Firefox's developer and Alternativa at the same time.

I've been having problems with Firefox for several months. That was the same time that Flash became a problem with Chrome. On Firefox, I can get into the lobby, garage, Wiki, etc. but when I press a battle button, nothing happens. In fact, when I log in to the lobby, I see the last pro battle map I played before the problem started. I can go from Pro battles to the MM list, but that's all. When I log out then back in again, I'm back at the same pro battle map.

Thanks, this is exactly what I am now seeing - that when you press the "Play" button, nothing happens.  When I try to play a game in the Pro battles, the game tries to load but all I see is a progress bar that never completes until it says that the game has been disconnected due to lack of activity.

Yes, have posted a bug report on FF support.  No replies as yet.

You're best off using the official client or Standalone Flash. I think many browsers will have issues with the game until it moves to HTML5 because Flash is so outdated.

Sorry, that may be a dumb question, but how do you log off from the client so you could log on with another account? When I press 'X' on the top right, it just closes the client. TY

Why don't you play on client?

Click on the red 'X' icon at the top-right corner of the client's interface, and then 'Yes' when getting the "Are you sure you want to quit?" message.

Yes, I'm pressing that red 'X" next to the question mark, I press 'Yes" at the message, but the client closes :) idk, some time ago I saw somebody asking about the same problem on another post, but I didn't see the answer

Then you'll just need to clear your TO client's cache in order to be able to log out of it with your currently used account.

Lol FF

Firefox is quite good compared to Chrome for me.  I use FF 50 and Tanki runs really well.  On Chrome (49.0.2623.112) the picture is grainy and bitty.

I don't know what impact HTML5 will have on older FFs but a forced move to Chrome would be unplayable.

Have you tried reverting the update?

Full list of releases can be found here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases/

FireFox is removing support for Adobe Flash soon, as well as Chrome and others. Flash is old, and really isn't needed anymore, they are removing parts You can probably revert this temporarily either in settings or the flags settings.

Guy on Firefox solved the problem:

Have to change a hidden configuration on FF.

It's fixed!

with updated  flash player and FF browser

I would suggest you start playing TO on its official game client.

Problem solved, and therefore..
