Challenge Duration Changes

Hey guys,

As you all know, the Tanki famous Challenge has been going on, and after the first one ended, the second new one has just started. In my opinion, these Challenge durationa are just too short for me. My suggestion is to change their durations, along with breaks in between each one;

Whenever a new Challenge starts, instead of lasting a month, it should run for 1 and a half months. Once it ends, it would be in the middle of a month. There should then be a break of a half month, which will go through the end of that current month. One a new month starts again, a new Challenge starts, and it lasts for another 1 and a half months.

EXAMPLE: Challenge starts in the month of March, on the 1st. It lasts through the whole month, and ends on April 15th or 16th (half a month). Therefore, it lasted 1 and a half months. After it ends, there'll be a break of no Challenges the whole rest of the month, and on May 1st, a new Challenge starts.

I personally like this idea because it mainly gives Tankers, preferably non-buyer with not as good equipment, much more time to earn the most stars they can, and also have a couple weeks of no Challenge, to sit back and relax. However, it would mean sacrificing the name of "February Challenge", "March Challenge", etc. since the Challenges are more than a month.

Personally, I don't mind them lasting a month but month after month isn't that fun and at least it would be great to have them once every 2 months so 1-month break then the next challenge starts. So, every 2 months would have been perfect. You remember how the WAR event wasn't that great at first right? And then the second one was much better than the first one, I hope they do the same for the challenges too and take everyone's feedback into consideration. Especially the breaks between the challenges are very important.

The few non-Challenge days before the February Challenge the number of players playing at a certain moment peaked to around 30k, now it's around 38k. I think that's what Devs care about.

 

If we don't like a Challenge we can stop playing, like I'm not playing with my main accounts because of poor rewards and the Storm paint.

it's not like you have to complete every challenge <_<  if you need a month break in between each challenge then just ignore every alternate challenge?

Challenges have a tendency to ruin battles during the duration. 

 

Players often care more their personal score and less about the actual battle.

Hence many CTF battles look like TDMs.

 

The more Challenges there, the more crappy battles we experience, even if we are not really trying to earn stars.

In my suggestion, I said a half month break.

The few non-Challenge days before the February Challenge the number of players playing at a certain moment peaked to around 30k, now it's around 38k. I think that's what Devs care about.

 

If we don't like a Challenge we can stop playing, like I'm not playing with my main accounts because of poor rewards and the Storm paint.

Yeah, but that's because challenges are a new thing and still have hype surrounding them. If challenges turn into a standard thing that's always there, people will get used to them and the hype will die down. But if there are periods of time when there's no challenges, then they will be something to look forward to and there will be more variety.

It is completely annoying when all teh battles everyone is competing to be top. I haven't played at all this week becauuse of the amount of drugging, even in the low ranks.

And not just the drugging but also the amount of exploits in battles also went way up.

 

I think that the duration of non challenge days should be equivalent to the duration of the last challenge event. Like we just came out of a ridiculously long challenges event, so we should get at least 42 days of no challenges.

I don't know about equal length but... yeah. We should have had Feb off at the very least. Really annoying to have to play like you're playing for stars even when you don't care about them.

Because the only mode i can play in rn that i don't have problems with because of how peeps are playing is JGR Mode...

 

I only say that cause everyone uses supplies in that mode, so it is normal...
