A new feature that should be put is to see what you're playing tanki on. An example is that if you see a small computer icon next to another player's health, you will know the player is on a pc. If you see a smartphone near another tankers health, you will know the player is also on mobile version

OK, I'll show you how dumb I am...I thought mobile and pc were on different servers. I don't play on a mobile, I don't even have a cell phone, a smart phone or anything of the like. I have a pc and a landline. Please explain to me why this suggestion is important? I've never played a mobile game.

Yeah, would be a nice feature. If I saw a player on Mobile, I'd know that they are most likely less capable and, more importantly, they have no way of seeing messages in chat and responding to them, so there's no point even trying.

I don't think devs will like that idea, they like to obscure information rather than being more transparent.

 

But you can give us more reasons for it.

This thing can always be added as an extra feature, for example something you activate via settings or only see when you press Tab or R/V.

So see the mobile icon & you know that tank is likely to be an easier kill...I like your thinking. :)

Well, I doubt that this feature could really be abused to take advantage of mobile users. After all, it usually takes just one encounter with a player to realise that they're not that good at the game (don't turn turret, miss a lot, etc.). So I don't think it would make life worse for mobile users.

Of course it will, it's a visual aid showing who's most likely to be disadvantaged by mobile controls of any players you encounter.

 

People will use any advantage they can get and if they think that mobilers are an easy kill, they will make it a habit to target them using this. Even in some cases if that mobiler is actually a good enough player, they'll still be targeted, potentially by multiple enemies at once that all have the same idea.

 

And imagine the fun freeze users will have with this. They pray easily on enemies that aren't quick enough to react to them. The mobile icon will be like a red rag to a bull.

From what I have read, so far, the problem is controls. I've seen others playing mobile games, twisting and turning the phone around and using thumbs all at the same time. I think I get the picture.

 

If using mobile is a disadvantage, then the icons shouldn't be by default. Let the player make that decision. Some players may find it helps to let others know that they are not playing the best because they are on mobile, while others may find it a hindrance as @TaffyTank had noted in post #10.

Hi guys, I think we should be able to see who playing in mobile by clicking on TAB.

I wonder why this doesn't exist! I think it's a normal and common sense to have this as there are a two versions of the game.

Though it seems a silly idea, and it's not a manadatory or an important. But any way it should exist..

And here is an example of how it will look like

In real I wasn't want to create a full new topic about a small idea.. But after I see this sections is filled with a meaningless ideas like nerfing a certain hull or something like this. I think my idea should have a new separate topic also
