Introduction

Excuse the off topic parts, but its relevant of the idea.
If you don't know much about me, I have been playing tanki online since I was 12 years old, and when I first started I was playing the Brazilian version for numerous reasons, the main one was it was unblocked at school. And right before I even knew about tanki, I began learning HTML (I think it was like 3 or 4 HTML5 did not exist) from then on I began learning more and more and eventually learned VB, C# and a various amount of other languages. When I came back from a vacation of approx 1 year, I felt saddened that parts of the site(s) seem abandoned.

Now to the idea

I see great potential with the game, with the company, however, it seems to be neglected. So the idea is to create a team, this team would be made up of players, developers, and enthusiasts to tackle challenges and come up with solutions. While the main developers work on the game, this team could work on other components such as the forum issues.

In similarity, a mobile game that has been around nearly a decade created a team of players called the fellowship which communicate and assist the game developers, and ever since the performance of the game, and quality has increased a lot.

So its pretty simple here, create a team of enthusiast to help maintain tanki and parts that matter the most.

Limitations:

Now before y'all go thinking they'll just give us perms to forum software etc, you are wrong. They won't we would probably go through the same process they do when they hire a developer, and probably will require you to be 18, just like being a mod, or other administrator.

There would be no rewards for this, other than some sort of indicator like mods etc, that you are in a part of helping with the maintenance of tanki

This is NOT associated with game development or anything to do with. This is strictly to help with lower priority things like forum issues, etc. And to help assist the developers in debugging said software.

I totally agree with the idea, I mean I just started my career in android developement, so I have a basic knowledgae in java and xml, I also learned HTML5 and CSS. Having a team that report technical  issues and problems of code to devs will change the aspects of the game nor the forum in a tremendous way, which means that there won't be any more complaint about those type of things anymore.

They will probably not give you the permission of writing/reading codes.

I don't understand threads like this telling tanki how to do its job from a business perspective.

Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Activision all have interns, And yes that means unpaid, generally includes those in college but not limited to. And they are then responsible for lower priority or shadow work. All I am trying to do is suggest ways to address ongoing issues they seem to be neglecting to address or don't have time to due to higher priority. That then gives an opportunity for entry level developers to step in and give a helping hand in return of experience. A college degree can get you in the front door but can't get you a job, your work, and experience is an ice breaker. I am not telling tanki what to do either, I am suggesting per the name of the section. What they do with it is none of my business, other than the fact something needs to be done. Its like a customer service department having the phones down, and never taking the time to fix them. The forum is an important place for the community.

Declined

Developers do not accept ideas regarding their company as a whole. Please just stick to ideas for Tanki Online.

Ah I did not know that if you see this reply mind adding that to the list?
