What happened to all the forumers

So I took an short hiatus from TO for slightly more than a month, which was quite enjoyable despite all the real-life work I have to do instead. 

 

But now, there are no recognizable names on the forum (except for maybe the viking4s guy) left lol. What happened? Where did everyone go? Is TO actually dead now? Did history repeat itself with the rehiring of Cedric Debono?

 

I'm probably done with TO very soon.

no, you only came just after the end of celebrations that's all, but in those two past months, the forum was filled with activity.

when you're recognizable they always check your profile and look for excuses to ban you. you make 1 post and when the next mod that comes online will first be viewing your profile, and then the topic you made your last post.

You don't like others checking your profile? I checked it. Do you feel as though I'm stalking you?

 

If you break the rules you will be warned, if you continue to break the rules you will, eventually, be banned. Obey the rules and you have nothing to worry about. It's called being civil and keeping it civil. You have a problem with that?

 

It's the job of the Mods to read the posts to insure the post is in the right place and is within the boundaries of the rules. You don't want the Mods doing their job?

Granted, the forums aren't as lively as it once was. I contribute that to 2 factors: 1) The reduction of players and (2) The news highlights in the lobby chat window.

 

The few who have replaced the many who have left are more interested in playing than becoming an active part of the Forum Community. The new highlights you see in the lobby chat area wasn't always there. Players requested it so they didn't have to come here to search for what's new. Now, they see the highlights and if there is something they are interested in, they click on it, read what they are interested in and leave. If there is nothing that piques their interest, they either go into chat or pick a battle. 

 

Some players use an alt account for the forum and go into battles occasionally to keep the account active. If they don't go into battles, the account is flagged as being inactive and will be taken out of the mainstream. Owners of that account have to take the steps to recover the account.

Kariwolves is still around, but sometimes uses Kariwolves2. Guidofawkes was banned. I don't know about totalskill.

My theory is that more and more non-Russians are abandoning the game.

Not all that much changed, honestly. Some forumers changed their names. IMO one of the greatest losses recently was LittleWillie, and I feel practically no one noticed.

Kariwolfs has a clan. Total skills spams on HD discord. Guido played with fire and got burned. But I can feel his presence, he is close, very close.

I noticed that he wasn't posting anymore; he might have left because of MM.

You don't recognize me?  Yeah lots of cool people left on here. Most of the newer TO community (post mobile release) use Discord.

 

Oh and it looks like absolutezero left as well.  :(
