I was thinking about this idea based off of a older mobile game I play that offers a classic server. It doesn't necessarily render an old version of the game it just disables things that existed in the pass thus made it more challenging. This would be something that I am sure would grow attention and popularity of older players that have a bit of nostalgia. 

Basically, a secondary area, similar to the old server selection, where you could go to a classic server, the classic server would be similar to how everything is now, with the exception of things like protection modules, alternations, would not be enabled. The Match Making system, and any other changes e.g. turrent/haul balances, new weapons etc. would all still exist. 

The idea of this is simply to create a way for older players to relive the early days, with an updated approach. Sure you could just use a pro battle but, then you need a pass and blah blah. Heck they could even sell access to said classic version, and I would pay to play it. 


On a side note, to make it clear, this does not meant to change to previous game states, but to bring a secondary "mode" 

Examples that put this in place: RuneScape, Elves Vs Dwarves just to name a couple I know for sure.

• First of all, why would MM exist in a "classic" version? That's one of the main updates that really changed the game from its old format.
• Second, what you're describing it already possible with PRO battles - you can create games with all of the new features disabled. You say that PRO battles are bad because they require a PRO pass, but you also suggest that access to the classic server be sold for money? That's even worse!
• Third, and most important, is that this would drive players away from the main game, meaning that there would be less players in MM battles and MM waiting times and rank brackets would be worse than they are now. This is not something devs will be willing to support.
