As was mentioned at some point, only equipment that you have passed the unlock rank for is available as a prize. Kits have no effect on that.

Unfortunately, I think I cannot get you an M3 before Marshal rank. That is the official unlock rank.

I only said to the person who asked me before that even if I considered kits as an option, he would still not have the rank for M3 equipment. But, to answer your question, no kits do not count.

Very nice of you, but why, if your guide is good, would you not want the prizes as well? Even if that isn’t the main reason, I would expect that the prizes would always be welcome.

It's my personal opinion, I don't refuse rewards, it's just if I'm doing something helpful, I wouldn't accept any compensation from that, because you know, it's coming from the heart.

If you get crystals out of it, you may think about making good use of it, like for example to finance your mini contest ([Mini Contest] Write a Short Story - Winners announced) I can imagine that higher rewards would attract more contestant or you can make more contest without hindering your game progression. It is up yo you.

Alternatively you can use them to send gift to your friends (I used to do that with my Helper's pay).

Depends on what you’re using to write it. Pages, Google Docs, and Microsoft Word all have a word count tool. Use that.

Pictures and other visual medias are difficult to do, now that the test server is disabled. It's a big problem as I'm in mid ranks and my topic is drones. I can only unlock six drones and I don't have the crystals for it. Is there any alternative?

Well, it isn't the only or most important criteria, but unfortunately it is a handicap you yourself have to face just like everyone else. I do not require to have a guide that covers all the drones. If you cannot get them ypurself, try alternatives like ssking your friends or players on the forum.
