Product kits missing from garage

I've been waiting for 3 weeks to get to wo5 to get an m2 product kit so I can complete the march challenges. I was supposed to get a kit 3 days ago when new kits were supposed to come out but clearly they're late. It's been 3 days since they haven't appeared because you know tanki doesn't care much about the F2P players only about the shop. The bundle (battle pass and prem) disappeared for a couple of hours and it was immediately brought back but not the kits :/ This is the reason tanki went from 60k players in 2014 to 20k players

Yeah, kits are missing from all ranks, definitely something that should be sorted. The topic will be open until the issue is sorted.

Exactly, I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a product kit so I can have M2s to complete the March challenges but obv tanki doesn't care about its F2P players. No kits for the 4th day in a row? What exactly is going on here? This really isn't acceptable.

 

Tanki have demonstrated before if there is any problem with the paid content it is fixed almost instantly - when PayPal was broken I remember it was fixed fast and they even made a topic in News & Announcements to let people know. But F2P experience ruined? Who cares. Maybe if Tanki showed that they cared about all customers and not just those who pay, some non - paying players would buy. Customers want to see that they can trust a company, and that they care before they invest.

 

I expect, as it surely wouldn't take too much effort and this has been broken for several days, that the Tanki devs will apply a quick fix to this TODAY and not by server restart tomorrow once they see this.

You're quite mistaken there actually. ;) It took weeks before players were able to use the payment option again, much to the displeasure of TO and players alike. Oftentimes what seems like an easy fix from the outside turns out to be completely the opposite from the inside.

You're quite mistaken there actually. ;) It took weeks before players were able to use the payment option again, much to the displeasure of TO and players alike. Oftentimes what seems like an easy fix from the outside turns out to be completely the opposite from the inside.

Nobody expects them to fix the issue immediately but they could at least let as know whats wrong and how long it will take to fix :)

OK thanks for forwarding the issue, fair enough I may be mistaken about the PayPal issue. Since I am a programmer myself I would have assumed fixing a recurring sequence like this which has been in the game for years wouldn't be too difficult, but perhaps Tanki's code is more difficult to work with than I'd expect. Since I am a programmer myself I would have assumed fixing a recurring sequence like this which has been in the game for years wouldn't be too difficult, but perhaps Tanki's code is more difficult to work with than I'd expect. Thanks for the info anyway.

I'm not familiar with TO's code, but I expect it to have quite a bit of legacy code in the mix. Add to that the fact that the cause for this seemingly recurring issue (no kits in the garage) can very well be entirely different each time. That makes it harder to find. And since TO is constantly developing, chances are that one group of programmers edits e.g. an API here and it will have an unexpected effect over there that didn't show up during testing. Testing environments unfortunately never perfectly resemble the production environment, no matter how up to date they're being kept.

I see, I suppose that is true with Tanki being quite a few years old now. I know changes can make crazy changes to other parts of the code which you wouldn't expect, frustrating indeed! I am used to playing games from large companies such as Blizzard who have a much larger budget / team so they can probably fix issues a lot faster than a small outfit like Alternitiva.

The kits in the garage disappeared.
What happened to them?
When the crystals do not buy a kit, then the kits are in the garage. But when I have crystals to buy a kit, then they all disappeared.
What this means? That we're pulled on the string? Cheat? Mint?
