Changing colours of existing gifts for more variety with minimal effort needed

Recommended Posts

I get that they stopped making new gifts for every celebration anymore because they have more important things to do. while this is a good decision, there is still the disadvantage whereby a gift you got 3 years ago won't be unique anymore.

my idea is that they only change the colours of some gifts. this is very easy and they won't have to redesign gifts from scratch. this would not only make gifts more unique and collectable but they could also suit differen't people's personal tastes. for example, i never bought the crimson beret because i hate it. yes, it is sort of a symbol for the elite and yes i was proud to wear one a lifetime ago... but that was before and now i come here to become a tankman so i want a black beret.

using berets as an example, they could simply recolour the crimson beret into other colours and change the description slightly. examples are :

black beret - a symbol for tank troops. you are not a tankman unless you have this.

sky blue beret - a symbol for airborne troops capable for any terrain. only a tankman who has proven worthy of fighting anywhere and anytime can wear this.

bright red beret - a symbol for the military police aka the untimate thugs of the state, those who are tough and resistant enough to control anyone including their own soldiers.

green beret - border guards, infantry, frontline troops, recce. they are not the dirty ops sent on special important missions, nor the ones who ride massive machines of war. they are the ones who hold the gun, the ones who fight the front, and whose job is to fight until they die. in every army there are people who are meant to take the bullets to their head, and it's the fighters who wear the green beret.

this could also work for other gifts too. like for the lipstick for women's day there could be black lipstick for haloween or change the colour of the ice cream or the gift with ribbon or whatever
