If you don't know what multing is check the spoiler

My idea is very simple 5 deaths 0 points = kicked out from the battle

Not planned at the moment. Developers specifically said that they solved the multing problem in MM battles by removing the incentive to sabotage your team. The guy on your team is an exception, and such players are rare. He's probably intentionally trying to lower his K/D, or see how many deaths he can get in one battle. It's not common.

And your solution isn't perfect either. I've had multiple games where I got unlucky with spawning (or self-destructed a lot) and ended up with more than 5 deaths and 0 points. Doesn't mean that I'm "multing".

I was about to write 10 deaths but I changed it to 5 when I noticed that most of the players in the battle haven't even died 10 times and what you said is exactly the meaning of multing he can lower his K/D in a pro battle or he can use Isida heals his teammates and not killing anyone there is a billion way to lower the K/D

If that wasn't multing then what is it?

Perhaps he was intentionally sabotaging your team, but like I said - it happens very rarely.

I rarely play this game anymore, let's say I haven't played for one week, then I need to adapt to play well (as I haven't played for one week). Sometimes I get 0 kill 10 deaths. So this way I would get kicked, but I'm not multing at this time, I'm just trying to adapt. And if I am playing with Isida, I would get kicked as well. Clearly bad idea IMO.

Either that or he's just really really bad at the game.

To be fair, I've seen plenty of players who made really poor decisions regarding their garage and ended up with terrible combos. They drive around with their M0s at the highest ranks and get destroyed over and over without being able to make any kills. Although in TDm (or any team mode, for that matter) he should have been able to at least get some assists.

If he was that bad he wouldn't make it to that rank 100% he is just sabotaging

Woah slow down. Have some sympathy for those who never play.

Sometimes I lag-and I just get killed a bunch of times. I refresh-and then I can play. Why should I be kicked from a battle if I can make a kill right now-but I got killed because I didn't realize I was lagging right away?

Also sometimes I get a horrible battle spread where everyone is at least 2 ranks higher than me. Sometimes a player in my group is higher than me-I've played in battles where there were players 6 or 7 ranks above me. If I drive around a map near the flag-and snipers keep on mowing me dwn as I get close-I might be booted.

But if you want to make an Anti-multing it should go by time-if you have zero points after 2:30 of gameplay you probably are multing. Anyone who tries hard can easily get points before 2 1/2 minutes of gameplay. Otherwise enemy snipers can just give you a few kills and you get a boot.

I was thinking of basing this off of distance traveled-but mults might be just exploring the map and would be allowed to stay.

How can you get to "highest ranks" with just m0?  You have to deliberately not buy an upgrade - the crystals you get just from ranking up ensure you have better equipment than that.

If someone refuses to buy upgrades (including new m-levels) and enters a high-level battle with well-below-average equipment they are for all-intents-and-purposes a mult. I don't care if that's all they have in their garage - they should not be in high-level battles.  They affect the team by dragging it down.

And mults don't have to sabotage - they just have to not contribute - suck up a space on team and end up 0-10-0.

Even bad players get some kind of score - damage a tank that is killed by someone else. heal someone. Capture one stinking CP.

It does not take much to break the goose-egg.

MM has not removed mults.  I see them every night.  They cause a lot of frustration to their teams.

I've been in losing battles where my team (losing) only has 3 or 4 active players. I look at the leaderboard and supposedly we have a full team. Where are the others for the rest of the battle? Isn't that multing? I thought players were supposed to be kicked after a certain length of time of inactivity. Why aren't the ones who are missing, but still on the leaderboard, not kicked?

If I'm in the garage a bit too long, I get a message warning me. Why don't some of the others get kicked?

I can think of and have seen many ways of multing. Several times I've seen players park behind a building with the turret constantly turning or up against a building with the wheels turning. When I see that, after respawning, I'll check to see if that player is still there....yep still there with a weight on the action key.

Mults do exist and they are not rare.

Several months ago, a player in lobby chat, admitted to multing and said that he/she has several multing accounts. True? False? I don't know, but I tend to believe there are such players.

You'd be surprised by some people's logic process. I've met multiple players with only M0-M1 equipment, and when I checked their profile, the one thing that usually stands out is their use of supplies. One guy I remember was a Marshal using Hornet Shaft M1, but he used something like 15000 double damage and less than 500 of everything else. So I assume people like him think that a supply that doubles your damage is a much better investment than some little upgrade that only improves your stats a little bit, so they spend all crystals they earn on supplies (probably without discounts too) and play the game like that.

Their supplies no longer make them effective because everyone can counter those supplies.  I'd consider them mults and I would not want them on my team.

If they've gotten to the point where they can't improve the account, they should start a new one (many have more than 1) or stick to Pro-battles with their friends.

Their right "to play" should not trump my right to have "a decent game". Players like that lower others players ability to have a decent game.

Not sure how difficult it is, but MM should refuse to slot players into higher battles if their garage is well below standards. They would still have option to use that account in pro-battles - but they have no business in MM.

But all of the above aside... even a player with low equipment should be able to get some score - you don't have to be that strong to capture a CP with others, or damage at least one tank that gets killed.  There's no "to hit" - firing will get you a score eventually.

It's the players that end up 0-10-0 in a battle that are the worst.  They are basically inactive the entire battle. Taking up a slot on a team that could be filled by someone else who would be "active".

Players have made it to Legend with an M0 garage. Game rules only require that you use the highest turret/hull in your garage. For instance: If you have a M3 Thunder/M2 Viking in your garage, but choose to use M0 Railgun/M0 Wasp, that's considered sabotage. But if all you have in your garage are M0s, then that's what you use and is not considered sabotage.

I know what the "game rules" say.  You've missed the point.  Entirely.

But if players go to battles in MM based on ONLY the gear score, then anyone can switch to a lower modification-and end up in a battle with recruits.

Also-you cannot define multing by lack of points-since often players self destruct-either driving to quickly and they fall, or they fire too rapidly. That is not multing. If multing would go by actual distance traveled (not just spinning tires) than it would be a fair way to define multing for everyone except campers. But campers are less likely to self destruct-so they should have some kills or assists.

Who suggested this?

I am proposing a minimum equipment level for your rank.

If you go entire 7-min battle and end up 0-15-0 you are, in all likelyhood, a mult.  Even bad players can score >1 point in an entire battle.
