In your opinion, what is the best combo for a 1500 kills mission?

We all have our favorite combo that we use most of the time. But the 1500 kills mission can be time consuming, which might require some players to use a different combo to get the mission done in the shortest span of time. 

 

Tell us what your favorite combo is for this mission. Please include alterations and drones if they are an integral part of decreasing amount of time spent and a particular battle mode, if any. 

 

I usually use Valcan with incendiary band/Titan. Great for kills but takes too long. However, I like playing different battle modes, except DM (I try to avoid it like the plague). My second choice is Firebird with Compact fuel tanks/Hornet or Viking depending on the battle mode.

1500 kills , havent seen those around since long time . I do get 500 kill weekly missions , and i did finish a 9999 kill mission some time before .

Since you are in M2 lvl , i have to be carefull on my advice .

My vulcan titan is my main killer , incendiary alt , larger maps

Striker hunter is also nice combo , uranium alt , all maps

isida hunter is nice killer also , recently i added a booster drone , which adds some serious attack power . small maps

I do not know what most used turrets are these days in M2 lvl . I would look at that 1st , since it would also make the protection modules very present . All weapon hull combis can be good killers , it is depending on playstyle and maps and the enemy which 1 is to avoid .

For exemple the

Hunter smoky combo , M2 smoky is very powerfull , but not good for crowds , while thunder , striker and magnum create serious carnage in such battles . When the crowd is right next to you , those weapons are out again , and better have fire , freeze or isida .

Small hulls are not the biggest killers , allthough they can be fun and do their thing , they are much better suited for flag taking , or scoring or things like that .

I don't believe there is one go to option especially at Legend ranks, your best choice is to change with each battle depending on what protections enemies have.

There are many factors to count in. For example, how many supplies you have and how many you are willing to spend, if you have drones or alterations, etc. I personally still play daily, and from my experience Vulcan/heavy hull with Incidiary alt tends to be almost always in top of with lot of kills and experience. Hammer and Striker do also exceptionally well, and so does offensive Isida, Freeze and Firebird. All of them usually with Viking or Hunter. I basically named half of the turrets so as you see there are many answers to your question. Even other turrets and hulls can really do well, but it really depends on the player and the environment you are spawned to.

1500 kills? I haven't seen such a large requirement since the 10k exp mission for 2015 Halloween event.

I think he meant the 500 kills mission which is a weekly mission.

assault mode, if on blue use smoky titan with cyro rounds and saboteur drone, if on red use fire/freeze wasp with blaster drone

or in dm use dictator railgun with herald of death and booster drone

a) m4 rail + high calibre

b ) m4 thunder + sledgehammer

c) m4 twins + stable plasma

d) m4 vulcan + incendiary + m4 titan

(in that order, from best to worst)

 

whichever enemy team has least protection against

 

tried these on test server.

lot of fun

 

m4 assault is better than m4 booster btw

i tried both

 

with m4 assault, you can have DD activated for the full duration of the match.

I did not try both , but isida with booster is extremely lethal , even if you got 50% module . Booster on the vulcan is a waste , there prob assault is a lot better .

Twins stable plasma ... naahh , i do enjoy my twins stable plasma once a while but far less lethal as you expect it to be .

Rail , only when you are used to rail . Rail can be very annoying but i rarely see them on top list . They can kill near all in 1 shot which is the annoying part . Good rail users ( like top killers ) are very rare in normal battles .

Thunder , yep , weapon which shoots reasonable fast , creates huge damage + splash . Good killer but more modules around .

Vulcan , incendiary on heavy hull , and you should be on top kill list .

I wonder if the two low ranks in here know how to turn their turret fluidly... that might change the gameplay a bit lol.

Wait for overdrives. Long range go rail (it shoots less than a second apart literally), short range go hammer. It's OP.

Honestly if you've tried using twins with viking that's the kind of crazy stuff this OD is capable of. Twins has a significantly higher DPS than hammer, and floods the enemy tank with a barrage of shots. It also works as a short range gun without having to risk losing damage.

 

Railgun I agree though it's great for long range, alongside thunder and smoky.

 

 

Edit: Hammer and twins have the same range, but hammer's damage starts to reduce a lot with the bullet spreading mechanism, while twins' damage remains constant.

Yes I forgot Twins. It killed me (juggernaut) in about 3 seconds with DD. M4 Twins.

Wow only 3 seconds, that's insane. I just realized now that killing the juggernaut will become much easier with these overdrives. Jugger must be buffed significantly to make sure it's still more powerful than all other tanks.

It can't have 100% immunity. There has to be some weaknesses.

M4 Striker/Viking plus Booster drone and play DM or CP.

 

Been first pretty much every game.

The overdrives are a terrible idea seeing them. The gameplay is so not fun. It kinda takes away skill, it doesn't make sense to me now, but when I played it wasn't fun.

Yes, but some weakness is probably not included in being weaker than other tanks? Cause it is weaker than any viking with OD.
