Virtual or Reality?

If you had the ability, would you change your favorite tank combo from virtual to reality and live in the real world or change yourself from reality to virtual and live in the world of Tanki with your favorite combo?

 

If you had the option, would you made the change temporary or permanent? Temporary would be 1 week. 

 

Personally, I don't think I'd like to live in a virtual world, so I'd change my tank from virtual to reality temporarily. I'd like to see how it looks for real, but I'd have to hide it in the backyard with camouflage.

If we accept the two fiction books written about Tanki to be official lore, then the world of TO is post-apocalyptic, where the energy has run out and people are fighting over "energy crystals" of Helium-3, which are used to power machines. But I think once the main war was over, the tanks became unnecessary, so instead they were being used in gladiator battles, which are a sort of betting and tournament system.

 

Anyway, it's not the kind of world you'd like to live in, for any amount of time.

Nope, actual physical books. And I'm pretty sure they were only in Russian.

Never knew TO ones exists. Tanki X has some pretty elaborate stories and characters though.

I wouldn't give it too much credit. It was most likely a less popular author, who liked the game and decided to write a couple books about it. The books themselves aren't exactly masterpieces. They're written like a bad, cliche action/war movie and focus too much on relating as much as possible to the game, rather than story and characters. There's whole chapters describing actual battles in detail and while reading it I just kept thinking "why am I reading this when I could go and play actual battles instead?".

I wouldn't want to be spawned in the middle of a battlefield, that's for sure. I'd rather have my tank in real life, preferably Hornet because it actually looks pretty similar to a car, and I could use it without grabbing too much attention. I don't want the turret though so maybe send that back to the virtual world?

I would change my tank to reality. Permanent obviously, living in the US it's legal to own a tank that actually shoots :) Hmmm, what combo though? Not striker, it has no way to tell who's an enemy and who's a friend. Maybe Hornet/Railgun? I'd love to drive down the street, looking out of my railgun and displaying my (good in tanki bad in real life) speed. Otherwise, I'd use Hornet/Shaft, because I'd want the speed, but shaft is my new favourite and main combo on @HBTY2.

I do not want any real version of Tanki hulls and turrets because real tanks have better design. Even real tanks are not perfect and there are still ways to improve them. Future tanks will need huge angling in front and side armor.

 

If I had to choose 1 Tanki combo, it would be Titan Smoky. If I had to choose 1 real tank, it would be T-34-85.

I would make firebird real. Would be useful in the winter and make an impressive barbecue. Freeze could keep my drinks cool on warm summers day on the beach.
