Balance Battles

Battles are very unbalanced now days, not by what turrets and hauls, but how many is on their team. I generally tend to join the opposing team if they come short or it becomes too unfair. 

So why not add some sort of balancing system, it looks like the old system where the battle would end was removed, so what is the plan of replacement? What can be done to keep battles fair. 

1. Add a Incentive for volunteering to move to the other team. 

2. Reduce Points Ratio when the teams are unbalanced. Sort of like it is now if there is no one on the other team, but instead of 0, reduce it by like 50%. 

3. Add a Auto Balance Voting System. Basically it "pauses" the current battle (disables anyone joining until this is done) and balances the teams, restarting the battle. I know this would be harder, to accomplish considering the score, so why not set the score even to the lowest score before it became unbalanced. 

A few suggestions, some have disadvantages, and I am sure some anti-abuse things would be necessary.

1. I think it could work, but the option should be available only when the other team is outnumbered and losing, and their should be a time limitation for each switch, to prevent a big disruption to the battle when a groups of players want to switch. That could work for TDM, CTF, RGB and ASL.

 

2, I'm not sure, it could dicourage spawn killing because the spawn killers would be gaining more EXP than points and that's not good for them, but I think it would be complicated to implement and it may be too confusing.

 

3. Too complicated.

 

Now I have a couple of ideas too that if you want you can add to the list.

 

- When there's imbalance Supplies that fall on the losing and outnumbered team's territory should become incompatible to the dominating team. In other words they can't pick them up.

 

- When there's imbalance players from one team spawn slower when the other team is outnumbered. The bigger the disparity the longer the spawn delay.

I hear your ideas but if you want fairer battles just use Matchmaking!

If you want to use PRO mode that's your problem and fight for yourself

I just realise that this is intended for PRO battles. These battles are meant to give players an opportunity to play the game how they want, with whom they want, without being limited by restrictions and automatic balancing features. It's unlikely that they will get anything like this.
