Declined Alts for Prot Modules

To help  overcome these "stupid" weapon alts that seem to all cause Insta-Death.  Each module could have an alt to help ameliorate the insta jib from all these borked weapons.

What exactly would those alterations do? Increase protection? Since you're calling it "alteration", it assumes that there would be a benefit and drawback, and since the only benefit of a module is its protection, does that mean that with the alteration the protection would be reduced in exchange for an different defensive benefit? I don't see how that would help against "insta-death" weapon alts.

You mean Railgun, Shaft, Striker and Hammer alts, if I am not mistaken.

 

Railgun has 1 second shot delay. You can shoot it before it shoots, it usually misses if the Rail player is not a real pro.

 

When you play against Shaft, you can annoy it by shooting when they point the laser away from you. Shaft wastes the shot and hides, sometimes it gets annoyed to death while desperately trying to kill you.

 

Uranium Striker is a real problem, I consider it as OP. You need to hold range and try to avoid the rockets.

 

(Duplet) Hammer has pellet spread. You need to get as far away it as possible so it misses more pellets and deals lower damage.

Someone else can figure out the details... If there was some kind of Prot Alt for every Weapon Insta jib alt out there.. life could be far more acceptable.  And no, I can't get far away, around a corner, shooting the laser pointer...

You can't just post an unfinished idea and say that others will "figure out the details". Explain exactly how you think your problem should be solved and exactly what kind of changes should be made. Otherwise the idea is declined.
