the only hull i own that is somewhat upgraded is hornet ,now why would u not give hornet an OD with something a lot better than being able to see where the opp is it's stupid ,every other hull has a killer OD except hornet and you should give it a stinging bullet ,also since your money hungry this will blow you away instead of making OD's permanent why not sell it like you sell crys, upgrades micro upgrades like double armor , speed boxes ,make the players have to buy it to use it then that way you can put the hulls back to original status and get rid of drones its a bad market for that this isn't a tank game anymore i know many players would like it the way it was a lot of unhappy players . i would like to know what other players think and the developers also

since they want money they should Keep old overdrives and new overdrives put it in the garage shop for some crystal for use it for one day one week.. anyway something like that Will be cool I think

IMO hornet is one of the better overdrives, it ignores protections+supplies and loads fast, I'll get the m3 version of it when a decent sale comes

Mammoth's Overdrive has a 7-meter radius of attack. That's a good bit off of the hull.

WHAT???   I thought it had to touch the enemy.   that's nuts.

Anyone know if the 25% bonus speed stacks with SB?

I guess the developers don't like isida. Always nerfing its points and now I have to get rid of viking as my platform as it's not a good match for the overdrive.

Thanks a bunch.

Devs nerfed isida and vulcan allot because of the isida+vulcan incendiary pairing

I think it has to touch too

Sometimes I have to touch the enemy. Sometimes, they can be a bit off of my hull and I'd still do the damage. It definitely doesn't seem like 7 meters though. Comparing it to Titan's Overdrive's dome that has a radius of 20 meters, it seems to hit people at most of about 4 meters off of the hull.

I'm pretty sure it stacks. I can get to some good speeds with M1 Mammoth with speed boost and the Overdrive. That speed isn't too fast though.

I want to believe that the intention was for Incendiary Band Vulcans to be alone when they start overheating and do as much damage as possible before dying. It clearly didn't play out like that with Isidas sticking behind them because it just decimates the enemy team. Then they nerfed Isida because it paired greatly with that. Then they nerfed Vulcan on a whole because one ALTERATION was causing too much trouble.

These ODs are not balanced in any way.  Why not give wasp more protection and Mammoth more speed with OD?  This new system is not fun.

Mammoth gains a 25% speed boost when it activates its Overdrive.

Why should Wasp have more speed and protection compared to Hornet?

Wasp/Mammoth was just an example of how ODs could have been designed to strengthen the weaker attributes of each hull in comparison.

But whatever.  I think my Tanki days are now over. I like games where skills have some role in the game.  Tanki now is pure arcade mode drive and shoot PoS

I made a private battle and timed approximately how long each Overdrive took to get to 100% without any interference (capping flags, destroying enemies, healing etc).

You can find my post here.

Edit: You can also find it on the Wiki but it's more complicated on the Wiki to understand than just giving you the time in seconds.

Ok. Thanks.

There's a glitch where you drop a bomb, get killed and your OD is still fully charged. Or is it fully charged already because I killed some tanks with the bomb?

It's unlikely that your OD charge is instantly refilled after destroying a couple of tanks with the bomb. Are you able to use the overdrive again or is it purely visual?

What is going on! Every time i use overdrives I get an error!! Please fix it.

Has this started happening right after the update, or have you been able to activate your overdrive a couple of times after the overdrives have been released?

also been noticing that our battles are no longer 7 minutes but there less then 6 minutes.. were cutting back again

what has been happening with OD on Hornet is

you turn on OD and as your destroying another player in battle , you end up getting destroyed . but what is been happening is the OD stays turned on for a few seconds / minutes .

then been in some battles which OD stops when you get destroyed..

Battles should still last 7 minutes, could it be that it takes you a bit longer to load the battles now?

I'll escalate the hornet OD bug, that shouldn't happen.

why are we now seeing players energy bar on health.. not sure why// and no one had activation's in place

Could you perhaps provide a screenshot of this, so I can provide a better example when forwarding the issue?

Killing 8 players with the bomb would only reset 80% of the overdrive bar. That and the possible 4% that would have made progress when the bomb was ticking down. I've had this visual bug a few times, especially in JGR battles. I would have my Overdrive as Juggernaut ready but I would die and I would spawn again as my regular tank with the star above my tank but 0% on my Overdrive gauge.

What about with driver drone? what would it reset for killing like 4 tanks, I think 8 is impossible in MM

With a max levelled Driver drone, killing 4 tanks with the bomb would recharge either 64% or 74% of the Overdrive gauge. 8 isn't impossible in MM; it's just improbable that every enemy tank would be alive in the heat of battle in one place.

Ok then improbable is a better word to use

Is that why people claimed it was OP, because of that?

They claimed it was OP because players couldn't do anything to it when it was standing on the gold box marker. They felt absolutely powerless against it.

7 meters doesn't seem to be a large distance, and it feels more like 4 or 3 meters than 7 comparing it to Titan's Overdrive's dome's radius.

Well on small maps like Sandbox - difficult to stop a mammoth from grabbing the flag.  Can go a good distance with the OD and a bit of help.

After some further reflection I sort of like that the heavy hulls got such strong overdrives because they were much weaker before. In hard format eSports livestreams you would rarely see them simply because they were sitting ducks without supplies. Now they actually have an impact.

True. An M1 mammoth with speed boost and the Overdrive can cover a pretty good distance in maps like Polygon, Cologne, Tribute, Serpuhov etc (those small to medium maps).

I have to choose another hull to use with Vulcan because I know I'm not gonna be comfortable with Mammoth's slow speed when I keep ranking up.

Hunter seems like the only option because Viking and Dictator are way too unstable for me to work with it.
