Overdrives are here!

True. An M1 mammoth with speed boost and the Overdrive can cover a pretty good distance in maps like Polygon, Cologne, Tribute, Serpuhov etc (those small to medium maps).

I have to choose another hull to use with Vulcan because I know I'm not gonna be comfortable with Mammoth's slow speed when I keep ranking up.

Hunter seems like the only option because Viking and Dictator are way too unstable for me to work with it.

Dictator is unstable?

Maybe if battles were balanced and Groups were not playing against random noobs ODs would have been okay to deal with.

Or maybe not, I was playing with Viking in a big map and only once I killed 2 tanks with the use of OD, the other use was only good to kill one.

Hunter in Monte Carlo :(

Well on small maps like Sandbox - difficult to stop a mammoth from grabbing the flag. Can go a good distance with the OD and a bit of help.

Or grabbing another OD and Goldbox.

My plan is to have some accounts with Titan and some with Mammoth. They will likely be balancing both from time to time, maybe they'll make Mammoth slower lasting longer, or faster lasting shorter, who knows.

Dictator is unstable?

Yes, but different kind of stability.

Actually, now Hunter is definitely better with Shaft than Viking. Long range is covered, and if any pesky fires come you just OD them, pop a DD and send them to... their next spawn. :P

Titan OD need to be increased way more than it currently is since it's a purely defensive OD and static

I use it offensively too like going into enemy base and using shield

That is still defensive, the OD doesn't give you a bomb to kill anyone ,freeze some one or increase your firing rate or obliterate someone by touching them ,you are simply healing and that is defensive.

Well then titan was given a defensive overdrive what can you change about it?

as i said in the original post more active time with the OD.

It's already longer time than mammoth and how will longer time change that it is defensive? it already feels OP as it is

Bro you are comparing apples to oranges here , mammoth OD is offensive when you activate you obliterate and you can't

Be destroyed, titan is simply healing you can destroy many more people with all other OD when activated, with titan you simply survive

A little bit more with same offensive capability add to that a very short time of the od and you get a very week od.

Having more time on titan od gives more balance to this static od.

Both are heavy hulls and both have invincible overdrive and they have similar stats so is it apple to oranges?

Also unlike mammoth, titan can share it's overdrive and affect which is why I don't want it to be buffed it is already one of the better overdrives

We are talking about OD here not hulls themselves, mammoth OD is offensive and defensive titan od is defensive hence

the apple to oranges comparison.

Regarding sharing you are still forgetting that titan OD is static defensive, you have to stay in the same place to activate it

Which makes it very week compared to other OD's.

On another note if titan OD was mobile, then we won't need to increase time also i am not sure it would look as good as

A static dome.

Dictator is unstable?

I think he means that dictator has a poor stability to size ratio meaning that it has a lot of weight but is just to large in size resulting in it being quite prone to impact force.

I just came back to see where Tanki was at... Jesus what did you all do? This is new overdrive system is awful. This is not the same game you started with. You might as well spin it off into some different Tanki brand. Tanki: Saint's Row or something.

Hornet's locator tags are making rail pre-shot beams not visible.  So hornet OD is just a benefit to enemy rails.

railguns making a comeback with hornet

It is a legitimate annoyance when your team has Hornet's OD activated, at least for some turrets. Magnum? Fine! Fire? Fine! Enemy railgun? As said, not so fine. Shaft? Again, makes you miss your shots because there is no auto-aim. You can't see the physical aspects of the turret.

Honestly, them dopes that ask for OD activated mammoth to be killed with a meteor or bomb. My question is why?

Here's my answer to why it shouldnt: because then it wouldn't be immortal which is what the OD is practically called.

Besides I think a titan with dome can also survive a meteor or a bomb.

LOL Shaft too. Hornet's OD with DD can one hit KO anything that is in full HP (except the Juggernaut).

Oh yeah, I forgot about that feature of Hornet's OD. Having M2 shaft protections,I don't like it :)

wasps overdrive is very bad, the 3 second timer is enough time for even mammoths to escape. players are getting used to the timer and just moving away from the bomb when they see it countdown, it barely works. also, enemies can easily shove wasp into its own bomb, and so most of the time im always self destructing when i use it, making me lose more and more points. please lower the timer to 1 second and make wasp immune to its own bomb, this will balance it out and actually make it useful. wasp is already one of the most weakest and underbalanced hull for competitive gameplay, please improve its overdrive.

I think he means that dictator has a poor stability to size ratio meaning that it has a lot of weight but is just to large in size resulting in it being quite prone to impact force.

The problem I have using Dictator is that when I swerve the hull, it goes way further than I expect it to and I can't keep it balanced because if I try to balance it by swerving the other direction, it would just do the same imbalanced thing but just in the other direction. I can't keep a steady aim with turrets when I use Dictator.

Another thing is that for a hull with a lot of weight for its category, it sure does pushed around a lot. M0 Smokies are pushing my Dictator so much as if it were Viking. I can't drive and aim properly even when I'm stationary. That was for M0.

I went and used my M2 Dictator and it was torture to try to drive comfortably. I don't remember having this problem back when I bought the M1 version when my higher account was Third Lieutenant.
