I hate that hornet (the crappiest hull in the game) has been given increased shot damage. So unfair and no point in playing against them if they happen to be buyers.

 

Little hornets should not be destroying m4 vikings and titans in 1 shot.

All the ODs will get changed around willy-nilly eventually. cough...balance...cough cough.  What's OP today and annoying will be changed later and a different hull will rise up.  It's all a money grab.  Hornets shouldn't be able to one shot large hulls and they probably won't at some point in the future...it all depends on how Tanki thinks they can squeeze the players best.

The one-second delay on activating Hunter OD is just stupid.

 

You have to get close enough to affect them.  Then when you do... the delay is just enough time for a duplex Hammer with DD to get off both shots and kill you just after you activated it.

 

I mean Rail has a 1-second delay... but you can target players across the map and not worry about a Duplex Hammer (without any OD) ruining your only chance...

I mean Rail has a 1-second delay... but you can target players across the map and not worry about a Duplex Hammer (without any OD) ruining your only chance...

You're gonna have to live with it if you're in a duplex with a Hammer.

It doesn't bother me that much (at my ranks anyway, duplexes aren't that common), and I think it might be OP if the delay was shortened or instant.

 

I thought the new ODs would make things worse, but I'm mostly neutral about them now. My biggest issue with this game is still the (garage) supply META and the too-short cooldowns.

Drones are making these druggers much more powerful now. No way a seasoned tanker can win against a buyer who just purchased an M4 combo, with their DD, DA, SB and RK at the ready with their drone buddy helping them out.

What bothers me more is that the stunned tanks are only stunned for 2-3 seconds, should be more like 10-15 seconds.

 

And the fact that it can't disable mammoths overdrive even though that's one of its purposes.

For a now fast-paced game, 10-15 seconds is way too much. People would just curse the Hunters when they get stunned. 

Hunter doesn't disable mammoth anymore?

It never did on the real servers. It just disabled the mammoth's supplies and activated its supplies' cooldowns. The immortality effect is still there. The same thing goes for Viking's Overdrive. When stunned, the Overdrive's effect is still there. I'm not sure about Hornet though but I'm pretty sure Hornets still retain their active Overdrive just like Vikings and Mammoths.

IMO hunter should either have longer stun time or instant effect to be viable, I use smoky+hunter and I can't even finish off a tank during stun time

It is if you're using the right turret. A Firebird or a Freeze is great with it but not really a Vulcan or maybe an Isida. It also depends on how many and which supplies you have active or ready to use. 

 

Same for Viking. Melee turrets don't seem to be doing good with Viking's Overdrive while projectile turrets are doing insanely well compared to the melee turrets. It seems as if Overdrives shape what turret we are to use now and it was bad enough that they shaped what hull we had to use.

Omg, nerf this Hornet at OD, has in just 7 minutes 40-50 kills in CP ...  :blink: 

Huh???!!! Not for me though. I never had earning 40-50 kills in a battle before with Hornet's OD.

Maybe, but I feel like some long ranged guns can maximize the Viking OD better than others, like smoky, ricochet, hammer, and railgun can maximize it better than striker, or thunder can.

10-15 would be horrible in Noise, specially for the blue team.

 

Increasing range would also be bad, unless it depends on the number of enemies it could zap.

 

To buff Hunter maybe it could have a feature to take health of the enemies for itself, could be 25% from each enemy.

Doing damage (600-800?) to the affected enemies is good enough.  Healing Hunter itself is a bit OP, and the dev may make the recharge time much longer.

How would it be OP if it was instant?  That just means you actually get to activate it.  What a novelty...

 

It's not like the OD actually kills anyone (see mammoth) or does any damage.  Yes - you can stun tanks for 3 seconds.  You might be able to kill one tank during that time - if you aren't killed by someone else.

 

I've seen Viking, Mammoth, and Hornet kill multiple enemies for the duration of their OD. And except for mammoth - they can be far away from their targets.
