OVERDRIVES DESTROY THE GAME !!!

How?? I'm enjoying Hornet's OD though. Dude, I'm grateful Alternativa released Overdrives. I need that Hornet's OD to counter enemy Eagle module.

 

Let's face it. 10 years is a long time. Tankers leaving this game is normal. After all, we all have something dislike about the game.

 

After the 2X I was expecting 15k peak players, but I was wrong, it stayed above 20k until today, that's remarkable.

Hazel will be proud for when the birthday comes, imagine a game still alive after 10 years? A unique simple tank game that different kind of players can enjoy playing, from little kids to adults.

Yeah, some tankers grow up playing this tank game.

I just change the capture flag and score goals missions. And problem solved.

Scoring goals is even harder, at least for me. I have to battle with my teammates for the ball and then I have to actually get past the enemies to score. I skip that one only if it asks for 3 goals. 

 

The enemy Overdrives are what prevents me as well. I should be doing well with Hunter but I'm sometimes demolished before I can even make it to their base.

Maybe if you'd stop relying on just one turret you wouldn't need the OD to compete.    Just sayin'...

What he meant was that Hornet's OD helps him overcome Modules.

With the new Overdrives i don't know what Hull or Kit to buy, or what to upgrade. I don't want to make mistakes or have regrets. It has to be the best hull with the best OD, but it's hard. If only I was a genius like Hazel.

 

I don't think it matters too much.  In fact, if you decide X is the perfect hull for you, you are doomed for disappointment when X hulls parameters are changed around to sell more hulls/MUs.  I am very hesitant to dump any crystals into anything since whatever I buy will be changed...probably pretty soon too.  I expect the 2nd round of "hull balances cough" in a few weeks...just before or just after Tanki's birthday.

 

My strategy is to just wait it out and make do with what I have...it's not what I would pick at this point in time, but it is too expensive to replace and MU to the same level.  The Buyers will buy what ever hull they like, Tanki will do a nerf, an the Buyers will buy a different darling hull with MUs.  The Freebies must be much more careful and see what shakes out.  My guess is that Wasp or Titian will be on the chopping block first.  

 

One thing is for sure this is very little like the Tanki of old.  This is a totally different tank game.  Remember so much diversity in battles and so many choices of how to play?  Remember teamwork, real comradeship, or even dialog?  What we are left with is an OK game, but it is nothing by comparison...sigh.

In battles were there are many Wasp all you hear is beep beep beep... you don't even know which of the bombs are friendly or not.
