Protest against hull overdrives

Devs are going to add 6 new overdrives tomorrow so there will be 7 different overdrives in total, 1 for every hull. You will probably hate the overdrive for your hull.

 

When you want to use a specific overdrive which you like, you need to use a specific hull which does not suit your gameplay, you have it on M0 or you simply hate it.

 

Unless devs make the overdrives independent from hulls, I will stop using the overdrives as a protest. You can do the same, of course.

but i am disappointed, hunter's overdrive does not disable titan's dome rip

No point in protesting on here.

 

Blowouts will become mega-blowouts... no doubt about that. Catching the flag will be impossible with those mammoth and titan overdrives (plus the drones of course) so every mode will become TDM.

yep i tried in test server, i went straight upto a titan with dome, was excited to use the overdrive but nothing happened. only the tank froze :/

hope what you experienced was glitch or unfinished product.  The video on the string about new ODs coming out specifically indicates that Hunter OD should disable the dome.

 

Maybe you were too far away?

I was able to disable the dome in earlier testings. Haven't tried it with recent ones though.

You can't disable the dome if you're no where near the generator. It's like the bomb OD for wasp, can't disable the bomb if you're nowhere near it.

I am not going to mult. I have M3 Smoky with Incendiary alt so I can get good score and k/d without hull overdrives.

If people don't want to use overdrives that is fine...some dont currently...I will kill them, but it is their choice. Let's be patient...I am nervous about how they will change but we just don't know
