Just as once upon a time chat mods and battle mods didn't have special symbols in front of their names, game developers still don't have any identifications on forum, in chat or in game.

 

I've always wondered why not, I would be proud to say this is my game and let others know. Instead they choose to hide behind odd named accounts like @Pyre

 

Tanki developers should have a big T in a circle in front of their name so we know who's who.

 

Don't be shy come out from Narnia and  show who you are.

We already have special chat icons for community managers, but actual developers and other staff of AlternativaGames don't need any special chat icon since communicating with the players and representing the game is not their job. First of all, it's likely they don't often play on the main servers anyway, and even if they do, I doubt they use the chat. So even if they had an icon to identify them as developers, you'd still never see it in-game. Second, they don't have the time to deal with players asking them questions and giving them extra attention, so again, a special icon would do more harm than good.

 

On the forum developers and all other Tanki employees do have a special avatar which you can use to identify them. So Pyre is not a developer since the account does not have the avatar.

 

I would advise you to check the Wiki list and see all the icons in the game and what they are for since not only chat and battle mods have icons now.

You say you always wondered why developers 'hide'?

The reason they don't have the big "T" is not since they are shy and hiding-is since if they ever would be on the main servers the whole game would jump on them. If you really wanted to ask them questions, that's what moderators are for. They all have a special avatar to identify and they are (usualy) helpful.Or Tanki lets send suggestions threw the forum which the developers see. But if a developer would be on the game they would be flooded with hate mail and suggestions (too much for our 'wonderfull' moderators to deal with. Why do they deserve to be 'attacked'?
