may i add that i also knew that kevred also became a reporter at wo4. the thing is that your question asks for someone who joined at that unusual low rank.

because goldrock had already become a helper at that rank, it wouldn't considered unusual for someone else to also become a reporter at that rank later on. goldrock was the first person to become a helper with that rank so goldrock is clearly a better answer because he was the one who did it unprecedentedly

 Hippin_in_hawaii is and has been the lowest staff to date cause he was a W3 and was a W3 when he got in . check out page 605 ( start 600 to 605 ? ) in the congratulations page , it clearly shows him being congratulated on getting in and then passing and he was and still is a W3 to this date.. since when did any mod needed to prove they were the record holders . most only do it cause of battle achievements..

This week's question was fairly easy. The correct answer was Kevred, who not only joined the reporter team at the rank of Warrant Officer 4, but also still holds the record for lowest ranked staff member ever since. Hippin_in_hawaii who beat him to this record (he joined as WO 3) last year haven't claimed this record for himself.

flexoo, this was what happened. goldrock was wo4 when he became a reporter, but he did not provide picture proof when he got the record. they gave him the record because they saw that at that time, he was indeed the lowest ranked reporter. they late gave that title to kevred because kevred provded proof whereas goldrock did not. which was very stupid of them because the same guy who accepted goldrock's record didn't ask him for proof, but when kevred applied he asked for proof so that he could have a reason to let him replace goldrock.

If the answer GoldRock is also correct, it would not be fair to either remove someone from the list of seven winners or not include his entry if it is correct. i think this is a fair compromise for everyone if it turns out this way.

I had to spend a few hours cheacking all the comments in that records topic because of your lack of knowledge. If i turn out to be right can i request a bonus of 500k more? after all, it's unfair that i had to spend extra time for providing a better answer..

I contacted GoldRock to be 100% sure so it took a bit more time to verify it by him since he is obviously not that active, and although he himself was unsure whether he joined on WO5 or WO4 it took even more time. However, after some remembering he confirmed it, so you have been added to winners list.
