Nice, will there be Consolation prizes with MoP paint this year as previous years?

I asked that same question but no one answered to it...

But I think there will be Consolation Prizes with MoP paint like everytime. Because they have given Consolation Prizes for the RU locale Participants.

Will there be consolation prizes? If Yes, will it also be the MoP Paint?

International and Russian community have different organizers and concepts. If enough entries are exceptional but couldn't make it to the finals, we will give out consolation prizes. But we do not gurantee that they will include the MoP paint.

Do you NEED to take part in the video stage AND the finals to receive the paint specifically or just the finals?

Both as clearly stated in the topic:

To be eligible to receive the prizes, players must participate in both stages — the video stage and the finals.

It's okay, if we make it to the finals, I can just use One Man Parkour to complete the trick  :D

Also, I CAN'T WAIT to see most of the promising entries get disqualified because of their inclusion of skins in their videos. Next time, read the rules guys!

OMP in the finals? I doubt why we make a team of 4 members then.

Actually only one team used skins, most teams got disqualified for hiding the player names in the videos. :) But yeah, reading the rules is a requirement :|

If my team gets disqualified, I'm going to be pissed off, and complain about the spectator, Stratosphere...The organizers of this contest unfairly only choose winning entries because their footage looks good with the edition of spectator mode, and our spectator for the last trick in the montage didn't follow the clear, simple directions we gave him - orbit quickly around the jumper's tank, that way the nickname of the support Railgun can be seen...

This game is unreal, I swear...

Can you make sure our entry isn't disqualified, since I am not sure (and if needed, I can show you proof that it was a member of our team) :

Stratosphere provides video at 4K and i can only reach 1080p (wut?). Also, I'm pretty sure it is up to you to give him the instructions how the output needs to be done. Blaming on someone isn't going to be helpful in anyway. I think MoP spectators know their recording instructions and follow it unless you give them command like "off the shadows or something"

It is also important to make the output of your stunt to look cool. If it doesn't it is like watching Titanic movie edited by some 9 year olds. Editing is important. It is what makes people impress about your output. Also, you can't ask someone to 'make sure your entry isn't getting disqualified',wait for the results.

You are clearly disqualified by hiding your HUD as it hides your nickname you should have seen the rules, so don't blame the organizers please. And also be thankful to someone who spent his time spectating for you and you are complaining about him

He spent one hour of his time, we spent 30 hours of our own time...Both were a complete waste.

Spectators spend one hour to every single team. Get your facts! They have to make a good angle and turns to record. Its not a easy job. Nothing in this world is waste if you don't know how to utilize it. You can still take part in Parkour Survival. You've learnt your mistakes. I hope you will not repeat it in that contest. It is worth giving a shot since it is not International, less participants.

I want to make this clear, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure YOUR entry follows the rules. You had enough time to evaluate the material and throw anything out that doesn't follow the rules. If your entry has been disqualified, the only thing to blame is YOUR negligence.

No I can not share that info, it would be unfair to any other team. You will be able to request that information after the finals.

I got one question. What if an team get into finals, and they won't be able to take part in finals because of, i don't know, time zone or trip at this day, and just won't be able to take part in finals, so such team won't get rewards including special paint?

most teams got disqualified for hiding the player names in the videos.

I think there can be an exception for 1-2 tricks like last year because it's not always possible to show the nicknames of every teammate.... Am I correct?

To keep it fair, it is necessary to make no exceptions. You had enough time to record and review the material before submitting your entry.

In my opinion, it was not an easy task. We had enough time to do the tricks, but not enough time to re-do the tricks, later on we could only edit the clips and not re-do the tricks as the paint was removed. However, what if someone shows you the nickname in the raw footage that is not visible in the entry video? I think you must not deny that

You just told us that you have clearly recorded nicknames in the raw footage, but didn't have enough time to re-do the trick? Why would you need to re-do it if nicknames are already visible, and why can't you just make sure you edit it so that the nicknames stay visible?

I'll be honest, you confused me with this comment.

xD that meme was nice  :D but what I am saying is is 'IF' someone shows you the names later on, will you accept it? I didn't say that I am talking about my own entry video. It is just an example. I saw MOP entries of some famous parkour clubs and they too missed to show all the nicknames in the video. Just my point is that an exception for 1-2 tricks is fair enough. However if not, let's see who is the winner  :)

We do not accept any proof, as stated several times before already, there was enough time to make sure all nicknames are visible, and it's really not such a hard task to do.
