Best one is hunter because it can disable enemies over drives, put their supplies on cool down, and stop them in their track from at least 15 m away.

 

 

Worst one is Viking because it only last a few seconds.

I like Hunter's OD, but there is a delay after pressing "shift" and I sometimes got kill before it stopped the enemies

Each overdrive is best in doing its own thing. But I honestly found Wasp's OD to be a little weak compared to the others, the timer may need to be reduced further to like 1 second to make it more effective.

I agree about Wasp's overdrive. The others are pretty solid and add a lot of cool gameplay variance

My overdrives analysis :-

 

1. Wasp : Best explosive ever, but I need to remake my plan after got a kill only.

2. Hornet : Good to scan enemies, but better if there's 2 hornet user or more in game.

3. Hunter : (Let me try first)

4. Viking : (After I test Hunter)

5. Dictator : Just usual before this update, I know even I'm not trying it.

6. Titan : (After I try Viking)

7. Mammoth : (After I try Titan)

 

Conclusion : (After I try Mammoth, then)

I don't think wasps bomb is intended to just kill, even though it can. I think it's main purpose is to force enemy campers out of their hiding spots and out in the open where they'll be exposed to attacks.

Well, I use it to stop a barrage of enemies advancing together to score a goal and simultaneously rack up 2 to 5 kills. Also good for "Surprise!" tactics against Shafts in scope mode. :lol:

actually, I think they mentioned a while ago that it was to stop enemies pursuing you.

I feel like Hornets OD has been severely underestimated. Ignoring all protections, DA supply and seeing where the enemy is plus it's health when it is in range. It's really good, one of the best IMO. Way better than Wasp's bomb.  :ph34r:

one thing i don't like is seeing enemy health bars, some times when not thinking of colors and just the battle i sometimes think enemies are my teammates and before i realize, its too late.

I make sure to watch the colour of my health bar before going in. 

 

A Hornet can use that as a risky camouflage; hoping that the enemy doesn't notice it's an enemy and would leave you so you can get a flag and capture it. Kind of like the Spy in TF2?

I definitely see similarities as the new Hornet (I call it Radar Hornet) is designed like a Pick class character.  That is, for Hornet to utilize its max potential, Hornet must be mindful, agile, and opportunistic when delivering its kills, like TF2's Sniper and Spy.  Otherwise, bulkier enemies will just outright dominate the Hornet assassin.

I have had the same problem. I guess it's just a downside or disadvantage to having so many advantages in a single OD. A small price to pay.

What's wrong with Dictator's OD? It's the same one we've been using before the others came out. It heals and activates all supplies and can b e shared with other teammates.

Yeah, I think Dictator's is fine (and when I get a share of it I mourn the loss of it on every other hull), but it's probably no big deal if you're already drugging all of the time.

 

I like Hunter's OD (my hull) as a defence against close range turrets and targeting individual players (I ended up killing a drugging Freeze four times in a recent battle) and ruining other people's ODs, but it can't do as much damage as the old OD (scoring and K/D on all my accounts is slowly dropping).

 

I think Hornet's is underrated, especially the benefit for the team (but it shouldn't obscure the aim of long range turrets).

 

I think Wasp's & Mammoth's OD are the weaker ones. I rarely get killed by Wasp bombs (can also disable them) and Mammoth will always be too slow.

Also in the past if I was approached by a buyer freeze on full supplies I knew there was nothing I could do. Now I just press shift and they are vaporized.

 

In all other modes viking is best, especially with rail, twins or ricochet.

In addition to that, you can stop people from mining the whole map in a parkour battle. Just approach them even with an m0 Mammoth, and let the fun begin.
