Bring back the auto battle termination system when teams are unbalanced for MM.

Recommended Posts

And here's why:

It'll reduce waiting times too. Plus if you score high enough, you won't have to wait for 5 minutes to get your earned stars, just 15 seconds.

This will only happen when teams are unbalanced by at least 5 to 3.

We don't accept ideas for bringing back removed features. I'm sure devs have their reasons for not adding it back.

Any idea what they might be? Im just curious, it seems like a decent feature.

It probably conflicts with some other aspects of MM and makes the whole system more complex and/or causes difficult bugs. And since battles are quite short anyway, adding auto-finish wouldn't even help that much and is not worth the effort. That would be my best guess.

So the devs would rather have unbalanced battles last a long time than simply to fix the flaws of MM? Man, no wonder people call them "idiots" "uncaring" or even "people that try to come up with complicated solutions for simple problems that can easily be solved with much simpler solutions" it's gotta be one of those three.

If a battle is unbalanced, it's usually at least halfway done. At that point it may as well just finish normally.

Also, let's not forget that MM still replaces leavers with new players to make the teams even again. I've seen multiple games, especially in CP mode, where a half-empty team is losing with a score of 3-25, then players join and the team ends up winning.

I've seen plenty of battles where practically most members of one team has left and they're practically fighting a 3 on 1 battle. Also many other players have screenshot evidence of the horrible imbalance.

Besides 3 minutes and 30 seconds of being cannon fodder to the stronger team while trying to get your stars or crystals from it is a really long time.

You have probably explained this before, so forgive me if so, but could you do so again? When I see stuff like this it makes me barf a bit inside. Not criticising the game, but this policy.

Its like "crap this feature isn't the best"

Other people: "well maybe you can undo it".

Leadership: "shut up"

The purpose of the ideas section is for players to share ideas which developers possibly didn't consider yet, and might take into account. If you ask them to add back a feature that was intentionally removed, you're not adding any useful input, other than your personal opinion about the feature.

Dumping players into a half-finished battles creates it's own issues and hardly ever results in these "come-backs" you speak of.  The team is losing for a reason and 1 or 2 new players that have to start from scratch (like Overdrive, battle orientation, etc) barely help.

Well, they help the winning team in that they have more tanks to destroy.  And more often (way more often) than not those new players just exit the battle once they realize their situation.

Your 3-25 comeback is as rare as a unicorn.

You have a point. Perhaps I'm wrong with my reasoning and I admit I'm just guessing here. But like I said - I'm sure devs have perfectly valid reasons for removing a working feature. It's possible that it makes Matchmaking unstable, causes lag or unexpected glitches, or is generally complicated to integrate into the MM system.
