I'm not doing the Kill Jug mission, that may lower my K/D because campers, fires and freezes just want to kill everyone that goes after the Jug, and I don't have good long range turrets.

well you gave me the good idea of going in a battle, killing one tank and then get out. there k/d is above 1... but these paints are 10k each rip

 

i might try the overdrive mission as well

I may sit this one out. I've participated in the last two wars but didn't have the time to put a decent effort into them. All of the missions sound like they are very time consuming.

Actually... will probably play less because the battle are absolute crap.

 

Do to the "Kill" & "winning team" conditions, players will camp and exit (losing team) battles like there's no tomorrow.

 

So yeah... will barely play enough to do 1-2 missions per day.

But that Mission is only for those that want the other two paints, or want to complete all missions for the top prize. I don't think many will be doing it.

You'd be surprised. between the two Super-Missions in WAR, and the star-mults for Challenge, there's more than you think.

I'm not sure, but battles are bad and I think it has to do more with Groups, how Tanki allocates players in MM, Drones and ODs.

You still have to pay 10k to get the paint allowing you to get the 10 GB (worth 10 or less). So it is a neutral gain for those with a KD >1 and a loss for the others.

But the paint costs 10k... same as the reward.  So you even out on that but... you likely will be missing out on Challenge rewards and daily/weekly mission rewards.   A net loss.

Why would one miss out on on Challenge rewards?

 

I'm doing Missions at least for the duration of 2x, and will do the mission for the 10 Golds and try the one for 3 blue containers.

 

You're a Legend you can do the mission for blue containers also, that means 7,500 crystals gain, and supplies.

My post was predicated on someone doing this... "You can kill one tank to have a 1.0 K/D to get the 10 Goldboxes."

 

Don't need an anti-cheat because if someone tries to do more of the missions than the K/D ratio, they will definitely be killing more than "one tank".  If they don't do more missions - well - it's not worth it as I pointed out above.

I understand what you're saying, but weren't you coming from the position of "I'm not participating because it isn't worth it". Like I said you can participate for the Golds and the Blues containers, and maybe even the supplies.

 

I tried the Jug mission, but I found out that it could lower my K/D. But it's not really hard with a Viking and a medium or long range turret.

I believe 1 kill and 0 deaths is higher than 1.0.

 

1 kill and 0 deaths is infinity in the positive aspect.

 

1 kill and 1 death would be 1.0, so good for the contest.

 

Now imagine 100 kills and 0 deaths. That would also be infinity plus just like 1 kill 0 deaths. I don't think Tanki would disqualify someone with 100 kills and 0 deaths.

I understand what you're saying, but weren't you coming from the position of "I'm not participating because it isn't worth it". Like I said you can participate for the Golds and the Blues containers, and maybe even the supplies.

 

Since I'm not gonna spend 10k on another paint it is moot. (for my marshal-rank account)

 

This account pretty much given up on MM after i completed last weeks missions.

I will attempt to give an analysis as to why I'm not joining this war: (please note this is not a rant, just simply my opinion)

 

Earn 1000 Stars*. This mission is beyond the capability of most players, and the reward is very underwhelming.

 

Collect 50 "Nuclear energy" supplies. I believe this will make players even more self-centered than before. You see, when you encourage players to collect a certain box as a mission, expect nothing else but seeing players in a battle fighting for that box and then using it for their own personal gain. The reward is also pretty meager compared to the effort you must put in for it.

 

Make 7 000 kills. While this mission gives you a decent reward, the requirement to complete it is very demanding and demotivating to say the least.

 

Destroy 40 Juggernauts. Let's be honest, when you destroy the juggernaut, that's usually due to luck and not skill. So how are you going to kill it 40 times? Unless you invest a huge amount of time into this mode, and have a lot of experience on how to avoid other players and kill the juggernaut efficiently, don't expect to get this done. The reward for this is also not worth it.

 

Maintain a K/D ratio of 1.00 or above till the end of the event. This mission was obviously put in to make players want to join the event, by deceiving them into thinking they can earn 10 gold boxes by basically doing nothing for a month. But there's two flaws with this, the first is that, even if you do only kill 1 or 2 tanks then log off for a whole month, you'd be losing out on all the rewards you normally obtain from weekly missions. The second, which is a bit more obvious, is that you're not really making any profit out of this. Since participating means you have to buy a paint which costs the same amount of crystals the reward will give you... bummer.

 

Use Overdrives 100 times. The only mission I found to be worth doing. Just use Hornet or Hunter and try to consistently do okay in your battles, you'll realize this can be finished in around a week or so. The reward is adequate to the amount of effort you're putting it in.

I wasn't deceived by Tanki, and I'm not doing 1 kill then log off for the rest of the month. What Tanki wants is for players to keep playing, not killing 1 tank then logging off.

 

I think this Gold mission was to encourage participation, hoping that you'd also try the other missions.

 

I asked the mods and devs if killing 1 tank would be enough to earn the Golds just to see what they could answer, not to try and do that. They never answered.

Alright, maybe I should have expressed my view about the 5th mission differently. I guess deceive is too strong of a word, maybe "tricked" is better. Although I didn't mean to criticize tanki anyway.

 

Yes this mission was meant to encourage participation, but I doubt many would attempt to go for the others (except the OD one).

 

What I mean is that, these objectives have crossed the limits of what a reasonably demanding objective would require you to do, and in my opinion, they can be classified as being overly demanding and time consuming to the point where they in fact make players avoid them.

I just need one more kill on my lower account to complete the Juggernaut mission. I have almost 2,000 kills. I can complete the 7,000 kills if I try hard enough but that's pushing it. That would require me to rank up twice to complete that. 

 

I'm still at 9/50 Overdrive boxes. I don't really try for those even though the reward might be worth it.

The rewards I could get by spending 10k aren't worth it, so I'm not participating.

 

And these MM battles are garbage to me when challenges are on.
