Should fully MUed Items be free in Product kits?

If we have a fully upgraded item (such as a fully MUed M1 turret) and want to buy a kit which has the particular modification of that item (such as that particular M2 turret), should the price of the item be subtracted from the Kit price?

For instance, I want to buy the Tornado kit to upgrade the Railgun to M3 (to compete with nub buyers :P). BUT, I already have a fully MUed Railgun M1 and Module. So should I have to purchase the M2 'tag' (which makes it further upgradable) at its original price? Or should it be free in the kit, as it is individually?

Keep in mind that kits give the modification before the actual unlock rank.

It used to be subtracted, but not anymore. This is now an intentional disadvantage of kits. You can buy them with a hefty discount and you can get access to items 2(or 4) ranks before they unlock, but you may have to buy items you don't want, or items which you already have.

Why are you MU-ing an item to 10/10 if you are targeting that item in a kit?

Mu it part way and then buy the kit.  Or Mu it fully and buy a different kit.

I actually MUed it to play, and I enjoyed it a lot. But seeing that now I can actually upgrade it further by buying the kit, it opens new options...

I didn't add this as an idea because I think this unbalances the Game's economy. I would just be buying Hornet M2 and Spark paint, and still be able to upgrade Railgun to M3. Tanki doesn't want non-buyers to have that many crystals, of course.

Just for getting people's opinion.

Yeah, and that is why I only MU my turret and hull a bit. What's the point to micro-upgrade something to M3 when I can get in Brigadier-General?

Yeah... if we still can substract it, kits would be really OP.

I agree with all the points mentioned above.

So, should we have to buy the items, that we have, at full price in the Product kits (I mean, with the general discount of course)? Or should there be a concession? Like a further 30 or 50% off on that particular item?
