It would be cool if players had endless supplies in parkour battles, as they would not spend a lot of supplies for nothing. Several players (like me, for example) who want to have fun in parkour battles do not stay because they usually have few supplies (and for me it is very difficult to gather many supplies). When I am out of supplies and want to keep my account in the same patent, I think of going for a parkour battle, but it is not much fun to play a parkour battle without supplies, so I end up leaving the game. In my opinion this would be very cool, it would make players play more parkour battles, and would see no problem implementing this, since players do not get anything in parkour battles, and this would also help a lot not to spend MANY supplies on events and not earn nothing.

Why this idea reduces the game's income? Free supplies would only be in parkour battles, it is quite difficult for a player to enter a parkour battle and spend the supplies, only spend the ones that have many, I find it very difficult for a player to buy supplies to use in parkour battles

Parkour mode has a lot of "Supplies Fights". So no way Tanki makes the supplies free, since those players are the biggest consumers of supplies in the entire game, so they bring the required money to Tanki. Don't forget that if no ones buys, well, there will be ads everywhere & stuff. We don't want that ;)

this is a perfect example of my point that I made in http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=380631&page=16 by the ideas section discussion. I suggested permissions should be somewhat more post count based and a little less Experience based.

This Idea proves this point that there should be a post minimum for full permissions.

 

First of all the title may be eye-catchy, but since it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the suggestion-this shows that the player who posted this (pwpt) didn't think too much about the title-which just makes confusion in identifying what idea is what.

Also pwpt, I don't understand your idea at all. Countless places in the I&S offer semi-discounts which are always declined due to-being 'bad for the economy'. Any user who has spent some time in this section knows not to suggest this-so pwpt should not be allowed to post this.

Also-the big font and everything in bold is just annoying for users who like to read these suggestions. This is not going to help get your idea any further.

Exactly, the ''fights'' that take place in parkour battles are just insane. some even wasting millions of supplies...think of it if they were free? None of those players would have bought that million supplies so definitely something that is good for the game but not for those of us who parkour xD hence why the developers won't accept it.

I could never see the sense in using supplies in parkour battles. No score, no crystals, no battlefund, no stars...nothing, no winners, no losers. It's a complete waste of supplies with no return on your investment, IMO.

This sounds like some bored soul who decided to just write 'Idea' instead of actually thinking of a title.

This is bad for the I&S since it makes it hard to know from the title what idea is what.

Well many people who are new to the forum usually name their idea titles as simply "idea" only because they don't know all the functions of the forum yet. Plus they don't know what would be an appropriate title.

Reading through his post, I can see at least 3 titles he could have used without much brain power. It still got declined and so did others who made the same suggestion.

First of all-just stop writing in a bigger font than everyone else-we are not trying here to force our opinions on other people-rather it is an argument to explain ideas. We are not going to decide who wins the argument based on who has a bigger font-so just stop with it already!

It's our job to moderate the section, and I can tell you for sure that everyone makes mistakes, regardless of their post count. I often decline ideas from very well-known forum users, and I edit the title for almost every single topic. The thing is, for declined there's no point changing the title since it will be archived anyway, so only valid ideas require better titles.

 

Excessive formatting and pointless posts are actually against the game rules, so we usually edit or remove those. In this case it's not so bad since it's just a slightly larger font size.

I understand that you want to give everyone a chance-but this idea makes no sense-and since Tanki is not exactly making part of the game free-I don't see why we should have a topic about it-especially if they would never have suggested it had they been in the I&S for long enough-that its not good for the economy.

Usually when players with higher post counts give an idea-there is a good idea-even if they have a strange way of naming it-and the name is not exactly annoying. Think 'Data is Beautiful'. There really should be a minimum post count requirement-otherwise there will be too many random suggestions that make no sense.

Agreed. I used to parkour daily, just for fun and to relax from the battlefields, but every time you join a Silence Parkour mode or somehow, almost every parkour battles, you come across some fighters with unlimited budget in supplies, and to be honest they're pretty annoying haha! It's probably been requested a million time, but how about a supplies/war battle mode? I mean if those gents want to fight and waste some supplies, free for them, but leave the parkourists alone! :rolleyes:

The only way you can create a parkour map for parkour is to make it private and invite friends and clan mates who are interested in parkour for fun and relaxation on a casual level.

Yeah, facts, but sometimes Private battles aren't the funniest ones. If I get back in the old days', Parkour Open Battles, were a good way to meet new parkourists friends. Back in the days, you could go into those Parkour battles, and literally create a Parkour team for the MOP. I know some guys that have been MOP finalist just like that!

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Now, it's difficult to find a parkour map where they are actually trying to do parkour. Then there are the ones who go to parkour maps with the intention of being disruptive.

Well.. disruptive players in parkour, there is always been and will forever be some players of this type. The least we can do is leaving and search for a new battle, sadly...
