Do we need a new topic to post and analyse rewards from containers?

I think we do.

My idea is that we create a new topic for users to post their rewards and we count them monthly to then analyse it. Could be from as simple as saying "from 200 containes we got these many rewards of this type and this many of that type..." and so on, to more complex analysis of probabilities.

Why a new topic and not use the other topic? Because we need access to the first post where someone can work the process.

We can start at the beginning of June

What do you think?

I think the current topic is adequate.  We can already see the trend from the updates provided in existing topic.

I still do not understand why the devs won't simply disclose the official probabilities for each reward.

Anyway, the topic made by LittleWillie has gathered a large number of responses, and he's done a really good job recording the data and using it to get accurate results. But I think his last report was over a year ago (didn't see any report after that), and it's likely the container probabilities have changed a bit during that time, so yea I find no problem having another more recent topic.

Disclosing that information would discourage sales when they realise how badly the rewards may be distributed. Uncertainty is Tanki's best friend so keep the players uncertain so they can either hope for the best or hope for the worst. If they hope for the best, then Tanki gets money. If they hope for the worst, then well..they wouldn't get money.

Some games disclose their percentages. I remember when Monster Legends started introducing chests into their game. It was nice but after a short while, new chests in news leaks were just coming and coming and now, the game basically runs on chests and has become P2W. I no longer play it since my device was stolen last year September but I still keep track of the game and help out the team I played for with news leaks.

I assume that the rewards change every day to be honest - whether slightly or by a big margin.

Every time the server update comes, I always wonder what the rewards may have been changed to and if yesterday was a better day to open my containers or not.

I tried to automate the process, but nobody followed the link and it couldn't be automated. If you have any kind of a life, you won't be able to keep it up...

If we start a new topic we can ask for volunteers to count rewardss data and to enter data into an automated process to get percentages.

Maybe changing the owner should be a better idea rather than starting once again

It's confusing where to start from, and again, we don't have access to the first post. Also, we can't just take his number because they're outdated...

Well it's true. If you know what you're getting for your money, then you'd weigh the opportunity costs of buying the containers over the benefits. If you were to see that Common and Uncommon items make up 80% of the drop rate, would you still buy containers the way you would if you didn't know the chances?

As long as players are getting Exotic and Legendary rewards and posting them, there is an incentive to buying/and or earning many containers because there is always a chance (hopefully) that that container you open would be 1,000,000 crystals.
