20 second start line for MM

MM is annoying on slow computers, because you join a battle and someone already captured the flag/ball/whatever before your team could do anything to stop him, because their computers were too slow. so making a 20 second waiting line before it starts would help stop this. not fully stop it but only sort of stop it.

 

 

 

 

 

(better solution: Remove MM :D)

Making everyone else wait for a total of 5 minutes just in case one player is taking a while to load will be bad for the game. People will be frustrated that they have to wait instead of playing. 20 seconds feels like a long time when all you're doing is waiting.

 

Developers planned to add a preparation period before the game, but that feature was cancelled.

MM doesn't have that small maps where a flag gets captured before you enter the battle (if you have a reasonably good network connection). Plus, most people usually join at around 6:40 so that's already a 20 second spawn duration, which is more than enough for a battle shorter than 7 minutes.

What about Juggernaut mode? That mode favours people whose internet is fastest, and they become the juggernaut every time because the game loads fastest for them...

MM doesn't have that small maps where a flag gets captured before you enter the battle (if you have a reasonably good network connection). Plus, most people usually join at around 6:40 so that's already a 20 second spawn duration, which is more than enough for a battle shorter than 7 minutes.

Sandbox, Cologne, Sandal, Highland.

 

I've seen it happen many times in those maps. Even in Parma, I had saw a Support Nanobots Isida + Wasp on my team already had the flag over in our base and going to capture it when the enemies started spawning. 

 

It happens a lot and it's usually a game decider.

It won't be so bad if you have to wait until the other team has 4 players-since MM battles are usually full.

 

Also-what is the suggestion?-you shouldn't be able to pick up flag? or capture it?

The suggestion is to add 20 seconds of waiting time in the beginning of the battle. I assume it means no one will even be able to spawn or move.

Then I totally think this should be Declined like it already is.

Why should anyone not be able to move AT ALL just because someone didn't load yet-that does not make sense!

And have to spend 5 to 10 minutes, just to find a good battle without mults and noobs? Nah, I'd rather have MM.

Although each and every battle isn't as enjoyable, it's better than playing just a 15 minute battle (which you joined after a team captured a flag) every half hour...

The current win/lose rate in MM is the same as it was a few years ago, with MM becoming increasingly efficient we would soon have evenly balanced teams.

Before the update battles were full and mults were rare.

The reason MM is always full and Pro isn't, is because pro has little advantage while MM has rather large advantage (i.e missions).

old normal battles were usually full and just as balanced as it is now, plus you can chose the map, and for assault, you can chose blue or red.

 

And the waiting system would be like other games, they sit around in a lobby thing with a different screen and then it starts.

Just because someone didn't load-the whole game should wait for a while?-Absurd.

 

There is nothing so bad about MM-it has become part of the skill that you have to be able to adapt to different locations and settings. Instead of a player finding a spot they like and just staying there for a while-every map has its own features and you have to adapt.

I'm not crying, so save your tissues. But you seem to be dreaming if you expect MM to be balanced, so maybe you should save those tissues for when you wake up to reality. 

 

6-8 rank gaps between the lowest and highest in a battle is balanced? Being able to buy and use a turret and hull from the store 4 ranks before it unlocks is balanced? One well placed bomb can kill several tanks at one time is balanced? That's a better killing average than Magnum. In my M2 10/10 Titan, I can survive a Magnum shot, unless it's accompanied with DD. But I cannot survive a bomb. However, I guess "balanced"  means different things to different people. Personally, I don't think that's the road to being balanced.

So I guess you want to go back to the long waiting times, inactive teams, and all, just to say that MM has made no progress? Get out of your dream, buddy.

You can easily tell which player is experienced and which is a noob by what they say. The pros suggest ways and measures to balance MM, the noobs scream to remove MM, as if it's a Lego brick.

I never said MM was balanced, and still don't, but it's improving with time (except for the addition of Drones). So accept the reality and move on, the developers won't even care for what we say if 60% or more of it is trash talk like removing MM. I am not defending anything that the developers have done, but opposing them completely without providing constructive criticism is going to yield nothing.
