Balance changes for Turrets, Alterations and Overdrives

 you also have to see it from MM that when players are pulled into battles and others have all ready been playing for more then 3 minutes this gives these new players little to no chances on using OD on hornet ( if there using it )..

 

 

what I want to see changed is more on the wasp bomb being  lowered - due to increased damaged . but more reduce the zapper on the hull ( sorry can't remember which one uses it ) . along with the dome for mammoth lowering it to half strength  ,,

Yes, but they said the new overdrives were introduced to make the hulls unique.  And now Dictator's and Hunter's overdrives are more similar to some extent.

Best update vulkan is buffed!

Remove the nerf on incendiary band otherwise it wont be op.

those who say hornet overdrive is op are druggers who use double armor and protection all the time.

Now I hope the devs would add afterburn effect to Hunter's EMP in the next balance changes :D :D :D.  Things will easily be set on fire by electric shock, so... why not?

plss reconsider smoky's autocannon upgrade. its most expensive and yet its most useless, more even its worse than standard. i have almost fully upgraded smoky and on standard at least it makes 350-500 dmg. (regular shoots) but on autocanon theres no increase in % of critical shoots :( and not to mention when u use overdrive from viking it become ridiculous, shooting fast with 40-50 dmg.  while all others r with dreadful damage.

It's not useless - I use it a LOT. Better than stock at long ranges due to more frequent criticals that do not suffer range penalty.

 

But I do agree the reload rate is not buffed in proportion to the damage nerf.  The damage nerf could be lowered to 70% instead.

With this new feature that is too similar to Hunter, it lowers Hunter's value.  Dictator does not have an activation delay like Hunter does, and also has the "share" abilities.

 

 

And why do Devs not fix Vulcan properly?  It does not need another small damage buff.

It just needs that ridiculous spin-up time lowered to what it was 6 months ago.

They won't do that because of the alteration, do you think the SSR alteration will be more viable with these damage buffs?

 

Yeah! Railgun buff :D

I don't know if that's a good thing, these railguns paired with hornet OD can 1 shot you and go back to cover and it is difficult to kill them

Nope.

 

I'll be losing the same 20% but - since damage is increased, the actual damage lost is greater than before...

 

That alteration was a waste of crystals.

Overdrives has added a new dimension to the game... some of it is good, and some of it not so much. However, I really wish you devs would get your act together. I understand that from time to time rebalancing may be necessary to correct unfair advantages but it seems like you are doing a rebalance 1-2 times a month. Figure out what you need to do and quit dinking with the turrets, hulls..etc. For example, the Hammer duplet was initially unfair. The rebalance made it pretty fair. But now, you are going to make it a waste of crystals. Also, I think it was a really bad move to stop allowing players to test alterations through rentals. Now it's a crap shoot when you purchase an alteration as to whether it will work with your playing style. Overall, I am not a fan of this constant tinkering with the game. :angry:

Vulcan just needs to be reworked. Instead of just giving it a minor buff every balance update, completely rework the turret.

 - the turret right now has way more cons than pros

 - damage should not decrease over distance

 - either remove the ability for vulcan to go overtime or remove the damage penalty for going overtime. this is the most unattractive thing about vulcan. their is already a penalty for going overtime and thats the overheating effect. the damage decrease was not necessary.

 - bring back the gyroscope thingy. why was it even removed in the first place?

 

Dictators overdrive was purely supportive and it was effective that way. I bought dictator because I love playing support. but now you have decreased its effective range significantly and added this awkward and out of place defensive attribute instead, freezing enemy's around you. This wasn't a buff to dictator, just some awkward mix of support/defense that will easily be negated by other hulls overdrives.

Magnum m4 down to 2 seconds reload...? Sounds crazy fast for an artillery weapon.

 

The M777 has a max rate of 5 rounds/min.  Somehow I don't think that would work for TO....

Check these ideas:

 

1. All ODs reload the same and they get weaker.

 

2. Wasp drops a bomb and gets an SB and a DA, but receives the bomb's damage if it stays there waiting to see if the bomb works, and the bomb gets weaker.

 

3. Hornet gets a SB and a DD, but only ignores supply protections, not module protections, or the opposite.

 

4. Viking does the same damage as today, but receives a RK and a DA.

 

5. Hunter receives a RK and a DD, but doesn't make tanks drop flags, because of mechanical flag safety improvements.

 

6. Dictator get all supplies, no freezing, no OD boost, just like the old OD.

 

7. Titan a smaller dome, but that it moves with the tank. Titan loses SB for a while.

 

8. Mammoth loses SB for a while, meaning cooldown.

 

9. RK gives 2000hp instantly, and nothing more than that.

Or just remove Overdrives, and Drones too..

 

I have one account with Hunter and I like playing Monte Carlo... it's a joke that's not funny.

 

Luckily I'm playing less and less.
