Promotion of Tanki Online Through Social Media

 Share

Recommended Posts

Tanki Online is becoming unpopular because of its age. Do you follow Tanki Online RU or Tanki Online EN's Instagram? Maybe we could recruit new players to the game via social media. Instagram for example, you can post Tanki stuff on your personal profile or maybe create a new profile just to post Tanki Online stuff. I think it would be a good idea to create a bigger Tanki community using applications like Snapchat or Instagram.

On this topic, you can label your IG or Snapchat Profile username and please, no links.

Please no spam, no flood

Here's an example: Follow @tankionlineen or @tankionlineru or @yellowghetto.to (mine)

Tanki Online was a golden game back in the day, anyone still have hopes for this game?

Hopefully this doesn't get taken down!   :D

I still have high hope for Tanki staying alive.

I've seen Tanki advertised in 3 places, Facebook, Miniclip and a 3rd I don't remember the site  off hand, but I think I could find it again if I had to. The 3rd place, however, had the old background and the loading circle that never loaded. Tanki is mostly dependent on word-by-mouth advertising.

In its current state, I don't think Tanki is worth advertising to get new players.  I don't think many people would like the current iteration of Tanki.  We veterans play it out of momentum from the old fun days of Tanki and...well, habit.  I really don't think there is much to hold a new players attention.  That, and it is a slaughter for actual newbies in the lower ranks.  Tanki has become tedious and outright boring.

I agree. Now that some OP turrets are coming in at lower ranks, the newby doesn't stand a chance. Unless, of course, the newby decides to become a buyer in order to compete. It seems this is Tanki's ultimate goal. There's some incentives for non buyers to stay in (missions, etc) but the buyer has the early advantage.

It will. If MM can fill a battle, it will. When Tanki was newer, there were few buyers. It was f2-have-fun. After all the updates and Tanki started losing players, that's when it started becoming P2W. Yes, all those new gadgets that were introduced were tempting and everyone wanted them. Those who had plastic (or could steal plastic) bought them. Problem is...Human Nature. Once you start playing P2W it becomes addictive and that's what Tanki is preying upon.

I'm talking about maps, not battle modes. I apologize, I thought I had said that. I guess it was on another topic.

Oh. But still... Maps are random. Haven't even get to Highways for 3 days straight.

That's because I'm taking your place and I don't even care for Highways.

Hi @yellowghetto, nice topic! We did think about SMO and we're currently busy with sorting out mechanics for that. Feel free to pm me with any suggestions and ideas regarding our social media platforms :)
