Valid Provide compensation reward for equipment you already have from challenges

Things like paints and color alterations for weapons would provide you with compensation in crystals if you already have the item, in full, so if the paint costs 100 000, you would get that reward. It's only fair, since you paid for the pass, but had bought a paint that is within the challenge list long ago, and simply have let that crystal amount go to waste.

 

At least, if you have the battle pass, then you should get back the amount you spent on both silver and gold tier rewards concerning paints and color alterations. For things that cannot be directly purchased, they should have established crystal worth for which you would get compensation, and the compensation rewards will show how much crystals you got back for them, or just the worth of the paint/color alteration to begin with, so there is no confusion.

I'm sure developers are aware that some items will be duplicate, but it doesn't look like they intend to compensate people for it.

It's still in the same ballpark - players getting more free stuff. There's no point approving such ideas, especially something like this, which has obviously been considered when challenges were developed.

I want to propose when players in chalenge tiers get paint or augment that they already have they get some sort of consolation prize, because they already maybe spent crystals, tankcoins or even real money to have that color or augment.

This topic makes no difference whatsoever, since the suggestion is such an obvious one that I'm 100% certain developers already discussed it back when challenges haven't even been announced to the public yet. However, I want to make sure the status is accurate, and at the moment there has been no official statement that would suggest that the idea is declined.
