Allow players to buy Turret at Recruit Rank

Recommended Posts

Under review

No one posted this before (AFAIK), but please elaborate. What's wrong with the current system and why should recruits be able to buy everything? Gradual progression is usually more engaging for the player, so unless you are an old player starting a new account, you wouldn't need to have all 14 turrets and (soon) 8 hulls given to you right away.

I mean, you face all turrets as soon as you start, but you have to go around with a turret you might not like to rack exp to unlock the others, seems fair.

What is the meaning of AFAIK?

What turrets? All turrets?

Topic title Allow players to buy Turret at Recruit rank. I mean Allow them to buy. Not for free.

So If a recruit player want to play with Shaft at the start of the game he can get enough crystals. All he need to go is...

Join any battle (2K crystals Gift) or Buy any Hull (2K Crystals Gift)

So If the New player buys Viking hull at the start he will have enough crystals to buy Shaft + some more hulls.

Edit:

New player joins TO >>> TO players buy the weapon he likes (All turrets are unlocked so he is happy AF to buy turrets as much as he can and he cannot player with whatever turret he wants to at recruit.)

Now:

Vulcan unlocks at rank Corporal. Every Recruit have smoky/Firebird turret in battle

After the suggestion is completed all turrets including Vulcan unlocks at Recruit and now you can see players with different turrets in battles which is more fun to play and watch. The danger is not same (Now just smoky) but players will experience how all turrets work and the experience will be totally different.

The devs tried this before and reverted it. Personally, it takes the fun out of ranking up.

As Far As I Know

One important thing I forgot to mention is that the reason turret rank requirements are in this order is because they gradually unlock based on their difficulty and skill level. Smoky, Firebird, Twins and Thunder are the easiest and most versatile, so they come first. Striker, Magnum, and Shaft are the hardest to use, so they unlock last. And once again, having the turrets become available gradually is generally better for new players so that they don't get overwhelmed by a huge range of equipment choices.

Then that POV is also right. The more you play the more advance turret you unlock.
