Idea to make protection modules more fair

     Have you ever entered a battle, just to see someone with a lot of real money to spend, with 50% on all 3 protections? This to me seems extremely overpowered, and should be dealt with. Well my suggestion will help fix this issue.

 

    My suggestion is to make the first protection module slot have no effect on the protection module, offering the max protection it can. The second one should take off a quarter of the protection power off of the protection, the third one should take off 50 percent or more of the protection power.

 

    Now, with the diagram below, pretend that each of the modules equipped here (Fire, Freeze, and Shaft) each of 50% protection, and take a look at the diagram that I made below...

    Personally, I think this will help balance out the game a little better, what do you all think?

We had very similar ideas in the past, so you can read the arguments against this concept here and here.

 

The biggest issue is that such a change would upset a lot of players who already have 50% protections, and it would damage the economy due to players not needing to upgrade their modules as much. You can check out more realistic ideas below:
