Declined Watch ads for free crystals in tanki (browser version)

Watching adverts for free crystals - I think we can all agree that this should be implemented into the game. Everyone who'd use or would be involved with this feature would benefit from this. A mod in tanki suggested this was already in the mobile version but Tanki Online is mainly known for its browser version, so having it in the actual browser version would be an excellent idea. Somebody else suggested this and I thought I'd bring it into the light.

Watching ads for rewards is pretty much exclusively a feature used in mobile games. Doing it on PC doesn't really work, which is why it wasn't implemented in the desktop version at the same time as it was added to TO mobile. I think the main reason it that these ads aren't very effective for the advertiser because on desktop you can just switch to another browser tab while the ad is playing.

What do you mean by ads?-Advertising for Tanki-or Tanki selling ad space for others?

If its for Tanki-then what would they gain if players who already are deeply involved play?

But if its for others-they would have to pay Tanki no matter how many eyes are actually on the screen-so why not let Tanki get some revenue?

Bruh i just leave the autoclicker on for ads for 1 hour to earn hundreds of tokens so i can play for weeks without watching ads

Yeah-but if Tanki is selling ad space to someone else-your cheating won't affect them too much.

We don't even have this as a feature on mobile. Unless you mean to increase battle rewards.

I usually try to do something else while the ad it playing, but a lot of the time there really isn't much else to do when you're using your phone. That's why mobile ads are so effective, because the viewer retention is so high.

Nobody watches ads nowadays. Whenever I see an ad, I look at something else like my settings or something

On your phone? In my experience as soon as you minimise the app and switch to something else, the ad stops playing and resumes when you open it again.

No, just in general. On PC's, TV's, etc...

I'm specifically talking about phone. When you use your prone you're usually in a position where there isn't much to do besides looking at the screen. Not to mention that you can't really do anything meaningful in the 10-30 seconds it takes for a mobile ad to run.
