Two ways to improve CP in MM.

1) make the winning end battle requirement higher like 75 or so. 30 is way too short and often ends the battle in just 3 or 4 minutes.

2) move gold box drop zones away from the CP point location. It is annoying when you're trying to cap a certain point and all of a sudden, a meteor gold lands right next to you, killing you instantly. Like the one in massacre.

Meteor golds aren't a big problem since it's a limited time event that happens a few days per year. Although it's true that sometimes golds drop exactly on top of a capture point, which is wrong and should be fixed (as mentioned in yesterday's stream).

 

I'm not sure about the point limit, since battles are already short and the catch-up mechanic means it's easy for a team to get the lead back even if they're losing badly. 75 is definitely too much, but perhaps 40 or 45 would be fine. Although nowadays if a team manages to get to 30 it means that the strength is very uneven and it's better to just end the battle early.

30 is actually very much fine. Also think of the challenges.... We need to complete each battle soon to earn more stars in short time.

 

Challenges are trash to be honest, they ruin gameplay. People spam with broken or overpowered alterations and drones for stars at the expense of casuals who only play to complete their missions.

The meteorite issue has been solved because meteorites only happen in special DM maps.

As for CP limits — like I said in my first post, if a team reaches 30 points in just a few minutes, it means that the power difference is too great between the teams and the game should end earlier anyway. If stronger players join the losing team later in the game, then even a 29-0 score can be turned around in just a minute thanks to the catch up mechanic.
