Happy birthday, Tanki! Wow 10 years past fast. - LATE I KNOW.

Anyway, I got a good idea to celebrate more at 10 years of Tanki.

 

I think making competition for the best 3 players who build Tanki maps!

This competition will give to its entries a program that allows them to build Tanki map, and the prizes will be 150K Crystals distributed to those lucky 3 winners, so first prizes will be like this: 1st winner: 85K Crystals, 2nd winner: 50K Crystals, 3rd winner: 15K Crystals.

Besides the fact that 10 year celebrations are over, Tanki does not need new maps at the moment, since any maps will be built for the new HTML5 version of the game. Contests like this were held in the past, but they aren't suitable for the game right now.

You mean some of the current maps were created by players? Its hard to believe that a good map can come from a contest-since players would add features to WOW the judges-even though it might not be beneficial (and might be annoying) for gameplay.

I assume the judges would be looking for gameplay functionality just as much if not more than flashy looks.

Absolutely. I think at least half of all maps were made by players. You can check who made each map on the map's individual page on the wiki.
