Problem with controls on pc tanki version

Ahoy. I played tanki yesterday on pc and realised that you cannot turn your hull while youre driving. For example: i go ham on enemy base, and everything looks like this. While driving i can easy turn and shoot with my turrer, but canot turn hull at the same time its kinda "lock" hull movement to left or right, thats the problem with my pc or semething ? because on phone i can do all: while driving turn hull, turn turrer and shoot at the same time.

This is an issue called "key ghosting", where certain key combinations don't work when pressed together. It's random for different keyboards, and there's no way to directly fix it.

As an alternative solution, you can use custom controls in the game settings to assign the movement keys to a new combination that doesn't lock up. For example in my case the arrow keys cause ghosting, so I changed the hull controls to O L K and ":" for forward, backward, left and right respectively. You can also buy an external keyboard that doesn't cause ghosting with the combinations you use, which is what I did before custom controls were implemented.

It could also be that your keyboard doesn't allow so many keys to be pressed at once. For instance, on a laptop you may be limited to 3 keys, so if you're turning the turret, firing, and driving your hull on one direction, any other commands won't work.

If you have a Num Pad (at the right you will see the numbers from 0 to 9 and arrow keys on it) press the Num Lock key to switch to the arrow keys (8 is up, 2 is down, 4 is left and 6 is right)

Huh! Never thought about numpad.

Alternatively, using your mouse will prevent keyboard ghosting from happening since aiming and firing your turret are done with the mouse, meaning the most keys you'll press simultaneously is 3 (WASD and Shift or a supply), preventing keyboard ghosting.
