They said everything except Premium, because it's considered a service, but if you think about it Rename Pass is more a service than Premium is.

 

I hope I'm not providing them with a reason or excuse to also exclude Rename Pass... sorry.

With rename pass though you aren't gaining anything gameplay wise so there's no reason to not sell it via tankicoins.

I think it will be bad. Because we play tanki online eagerly to get skins and paints everytime. If we get them easily we dont have to play tanki online anymore. Playing tanki eagerly is better than getting everything easily. You will see it after you get everything if you release this update.

You won't be getting them easily even after tankoins are added to the game. You'll have to play a lot to accumulate enough of them to purchase a skin or shop paint.

 

So does this mean that buyers can't just buy the things they want like kits, containers, gold boxes, etc with real money anymore?

 

 

They have to buy the tankoins with real money just so that they can buy the things that the want from the shop? :(

They can still buy the things they want with real money, there'll just be one extra step involved in the process of making the purchase. I just realized this might be a good change for people using gift cards to buy items. With tankoins they should be able to redeem the entire amount on the card, without losing any leftovers from buying something that was cheaper than the value of the card.

 

Will the Rename Pass will be obtainable by these Tankoins?

I'll ask for confirmation about this to be sure.

In the first stages, you'll only be able to use tankoins to purchase shop items. What we'll be able to buy with them in the 3rd stage is still unknown though, we'll find out later on.

From what I understood is that everything except premium will be purchasable with these TANKOINS.

They removed it from the Garage for a reason, and for that same reason it'll most likely not be available to be purchased with TKs.

 

I think it should, at least the first rename.

Yes, that's the plan with the second phase of this update.

I suggested this idea a year ago, and here it is. I’m glad the Tanki development team is listening to its players. Now all they have to do is bring back isidas self heal, some old maps, and make a the MM system pair the “no turning turret” kids all into one battle, and the skilled players all into one MM battle. It’s actually easy to implement, just make a system detect if the player has used his z or x keys in the past month or so, and if they haven’t, then pair all those little buddies into a match of their own.

They can still buy the things they want with real money, there'll just be one extra step involved in the process of making the purchase. the items leaving , It still might happen, but I have no clue only the Dev's know.

My top three picks for new MM maps (not in this specific order):

 

Gubahka

Scope

Kolhoz

 

Chernobyl used to be on that list, but they put it in. Unfortunately, they managed to wreck it in the process. Stadium is still not great game-play wise but they kinda did as well as they could have, when changing it. Scope would need a couple changes, Gubahka hardly any, and Kolhoz would need to be a bit wider.
