You can use TKs to buy crystals, unfortunately it doesn't work vice versa.

Nice way to make items 150% more expensive at the shop.... Before a 1.500 Supplies kit could be obtained for more or less 14 Euro and a 750 batteries kit for 5 Euro. So both for less than 20 Euros. Now you have to pay 2500 Tankoins and 1500 Tankoins for the same kits... (the equivalent of 30 Euros more or less)....

 

Such a ripoff.... Just be fair Tanki...

Clever enough to figure out that Tanki has used the introduction of the Tankoins to raise certain items in the garage disproportionate... ;) Would be more fair to be open about it, in stead of letting making players do some numbers themselves. Anyway, it is what it is, everybody has to make their own consideration.

No, the main role is to streamline the purchasing process for buyers while making it seem that the game is less P2W even though nothing has changed.

Look above, buyers are not happy as item cost has increased during the implementation.

For Free players the 3 coins per weekly is low, especially if you are a casual player. The few free players that usually play a lot can get some benefit.

Wait and see as they will be more source for the Koins (e.g. war tiers).

The new currency will be rolled out in 3 stages:

 

In the first stage, TANKOINS will only be bought and spent in the Shop. This will be a short period to make sure everything is working properly.

Once that is done, at the beginning of the FOLLOWING month, we’ll make it possible to earn coins in the silver tier in challenges, and from weekly containers.

The third stage will depend on the first two. In this stage, we will start adding areas where you can spend Tankcoins OUTSIDE the Shop.

Never going to happen. No game give such option. You can only buy crystals from gems or tankoins. They say you may be able to SPEND tankoins outside the shop.

As in the most of the games where there is a second currency, you can only convert from "Premium" currency to "Default" one.

You can BUY tankoins only in the Shop, but you can earn them from weekly containers, challenges, events, contests, eSports tournaments and more ways of earning tankoins will be announced later.
