Are you eliminating direct currency purchases from the shop then? (needing to use only Tankoins?)

In my opinion, I honestly don't think that Tanki will replace Crystals with Tankoins, as their main aim & view is to add an Intermediary & Secondary currency besides Crystals. And yes, as stated in the topic, I think they will eliminate the Real Money system in the shop and replace it with Tankoins, where you can buy Tankoins for Real Money & also obtainable in-game.

 

 

 

TANKOINS will appear in the Shop and will become the main currency to buy items in the SHOP (not the Garage).

To overcome the obstacles mentioned above, and preserve the exclusivity of certain items, Tanki needs an intermediary currency

Most of the recent updates in Tanki gave the non-buying community a disadvantage in time, crystals or rewards and added P2W value. I just hope this isn't another P2W septic tank in disguise. But we will know by the smell when it is released :P.

Even if you PAY it is difficult and time consuming... I payed for a Premium account and a Battle pass during the last event and still spend hours and hours to get to the last tier....  :rolleyes:

I think it will be bad. Because we play tanki online eagerly to get skins and paints everytime. If we get them easily we dont have to play tanki online anymore. Playing tanki eagerly is better than getting everything easily. You will see it after you get everything if you release this update.

You only play tanki to get things like skins and paints?  :huh:

And how do you figure it's "easily"?

 

The SHOP has always been around... been able to pay with $$ instead of investing time for ages.

NO. Crystals is for Garage equipment and upgrade. You will always need crystals to buys these equipment and make your equipment stronger.

While TANKOINS will be for cosmetics item and the SHOP item (where you currently need real money).  Tkoins will be bought and spent in the Shop Flash and mobile.

So you will be able to buy Tkoins with money, and then use the Tkoins to buy product Kit, GB .... from the SHOP.

 You still need real money to buy TKoins. Not sure if in the flash and HTML version you will have both option (money and Tkoins) for each items.

Buying Tkoins from the Mobile shop will be still 30% more expensive than the Flash/Html5.

You only need to buy Tankoins if you want something from the SHOP.

sir what Tankoins is basically a in house coins . similar to also Steam. you need to pay cash to buy coins then once purchased , you will be able to purchase items . ( for now its only in shop items. ) this will change later if things work out. lets wait for more info to come on how they are going to arrange for us to use them.

Around two years ago, during the early release stage of Tanki X, I have suggested for a new currency for Tanki Online. If you can find that post I have written on my suggestion about a new Tanki Online currency, please post me the link to my post. I cannot find it.

 

Tankions are now the new Tanki Online currency which will be released in Tanki Online soon this coming August 2019. I just cannot wait for it. Tankions are not a replacement of crystals, but a secondary currency like the X Crystals in Tanki X. They are similar but Tankions gives a proper balance to Tanki Online's game economy and also makes very expensive items such as turrets, hulls and modules somewhat cheaper to buy with Tankions. I do not know yet what 1 Tankion equals to how many crystals. Please let us know in the next V-Log.

 

Promo codes are rubbish because only one players that uses the promo codes gets his reward, whilst all other players that tries to use the same promo code are left empty handed. So, the promo code rule is "fastest finger first", which makes it a useless features for all other players. Since promo codes have been released, I have tried many, many of them and none of them worked. Please remove promo codes and come up with a much better and more beneficial feature similar to promo codes that all players can use without being denied from receiving their rewards.

 

I am so happy that the Tankions update will be developed and implemented in 3 stages. That is necessary to make sure that everything works according to plan. In the time being, developers must do their very best to track down as many bugs as possible and fix them. There is this recurring bug that very often appears called "An Error Occurred" error message which causes your browser or Tanki Online client to shutdown. This error has been in Tanki Online for nearly 3 years and has never been fixed as far as I know. Please track down the cause of "An Error Occurred" error message and please fix it before rolling up the Tankions update, otherwise this new currency update may cause many more bugs and cause great problems to the game's economy if the Tankions don't work properly.

 

Tanki Online is like Windows 10 since we all know that Windows 10 is so called "Windows as a service" by Microsoft. So, Tanki Online is a game that receives numerous updates in this similar fashion, so developers should name the Tanki Online game service as "Tanki Online as a service", and that is pure logic and that makes sense.

 

Tankions is such a great name for this new virtual currency. It simply means in full words "Tanki Online Golden Coin Ions". This is the best name so far given to a virtual currency. I simply love that name. It fits in perfectly well with Tanki Online reflecting the new currency, Tankions.

 

I simply like the new Tankions update and I hope that it will be released on August 1st 2019 during the full swing of the summer holidays so that all Tanki Online players can enjoy this new currency.

only issues that might happen is .. the cost will go up .. if you look at the over all past up dates they seem to up the prices when they do them..

Today Tanki sells Kits in the Shop before these show up in the Garage, that means the selling of unmatchable advantage for real money. Will that change?

 

Now non-buyers can earn TKs and buy Shop items just like buyers. But how hard will it be to earn TKs?

 

Will the new feature allow Tanki to sell more advantage now that it has a perfect excuse?

They said everything except Premium, because it's considered a service, but if you think about it Rename Pass is more a service than Premium is.

 

I hope I'm not providing them with a reason or excuse to also exclude Rename Pass... sorry.
