Shooting teammates has 0 impact force

I think that when shooting teammates there shouldn't be any impact force at all. I often take a supply only for someone who thought that it "belonged" to them to come and shoot at me and waste time I could use to earn stars. Most of the time, the effect of impact force on teammates is only used to troll and as such I think if it could be lowered to 0 it would be great.

The impact force itself is misused in the case you have described above, but removing the feature entirely is not a balanced way to deal with feature abuse. Removing the impact force would result in irregularities during heated battles, such as the complete impossibility to quickly unflip teammates when they are on reload, and it would also remove the punishment for human error; accidentally hitting your teammate has no consequence anymore. Controlling your turret fire is a skill, and making sure that it doesn't hit teammates would have no purpose if this was implimented, not to mention the downsides this would have for the vastly growing parkour community. Maybe we could bear with something like a partial decrease in knockback to teammates, but even then this requires too much.

I was actually going to mark this topic valid, but Destrod has some good points. Although I feel like if friendly fire (damage) is already disabled by default then it makes sense to also get rid of the impact force. I'll be honest - getting your aim knocked off by a teammate happens more often than them helping you get back on tracks by shooting.

Looks like that's the only downside, which could be resolved by allowing impact force on flipped tanks.

 

And Parkour could have impact on friends activated.

True, but most of the timr players just abuse impact force on trolling which makes battles 8 vs 6 or less because there are 2 tanks trolling and usually 1 or 2 other tanks trying to stop the trolling. As a result, the whole team struggles. Furthermore, I would like to say that this feature is always in MM mqtches but can be disabled for parkour and such.

Well, there are convincing points from both perspectives so I guess we'll leave it at that.

What are the convincing points for keeping things as they are?

 

Most play for themselves, playing all team battles as TDM, do you think they care about making a human error with their Titan and Twins? Or when they want to finish first because of WARs?

This idea is bad in a way when some noobs shoots you for getting a supply drop or when they troll you in a battle to go top of your score and earn 3 stars. Same happens with me many times. Its annoying.

 

 

This idea is good in a way when you get troll near the edge of the berlin tankers shoot you so you can get simple position again.

 

NOTE: This postion should only be apply on NON-matchmaking battles.

Because if they apply on PRO Battle it would be really tough to do parkour and everything will be ruined.

There are more ways to troll a teammate than by shooting. I get bumped and pushed a fair amount of times. But the ones who suffer the most from bumping and pushing the aim off are Railguns, Striker (just as the salvo is about to delivered), Shaft. All other tanks are affected by pushing and shoving. So, if you want to get rid of impact force because it knocks off the aim of a teammate, then why not let tanks pass through each other as not to knock off aim by pushing and shoving. If you're going to get rid of one, then get rid of them all.

Too easily exploited to avoid bottle-necks or cap flags...

Ive gotta disagree with this idea. Having friendly fire impact adds another element and strategy to the gameplay that I wouldnt want to see go.

It is not really strategy. Why should you suffer because some teammate shoots you? Furthermore, trolling ruins battles.

A slight penalty for shooting teammates a number of times? You can't shoot the guys on your team 10 times in a minute while playing and not trolling.
