Archipelago-like map in rugby mode

The new map currently is entertaining but limited in terms of competitive game play.

What would be better is if there was a map of multiple islands in Rugby mode. This players have to throw the ball from island to island to win. CTF could also work like this, with a flag zone you drive on on each island which sends flag to next island.

I think it could be incredibly fun and competitive.

I think you expect too much from MM players. This kind of gameplay would probably be fun for eSports (or a special event), but in normal gameplay it would just be pure frustration from your teammates either being clueless, or intentionally trolling.

Look, people dont even know how to turn a turret while randomly clicking numbers and playing TDM and you expect teamwork for them.


As pro battle exclusive mode, definitely yes

Another serious issue is that the pass mechanic in Rugby is pretty much useless. I mean, if you throw it forwads while going full speed on Wasp, it literally doesn't even fly further than your own tank! I personally think that an increase of the throw power is long overdrue, especially if a map like this is to be added in RGB.

I am not too sure about the juggernaut mode being implemented into the Archipelago map. However, developers could create larger split maps so that juggernaut players can have enough space to drive around and kill players on such maps without falling off the edges.

I agree there should be a good pass mechanic in Rugby. But you don't want it strong enough to travel over to many defenders to a teammate at the base. So I think this mechanic should have strong lateral passing, but weak passing backwards or forwards. Another option would be too only be able to pass in a friend's area. I hope such a mechanic will come out soon.

Love this idea, but an issue would be that whenever it gets too close to the goal, anyone can throw the ball off the map and reset it, instead of having to find a self destruction zone farther away.

Lol good point. Archipelago is an insta leave map for myself. No maneuvering, just hope you spawn on an island with teammates and dont get magnumed
