When I play the mobile version, there's no way for me to check the chat. Because of this, I can't make/receive any plans, ask for or provide help, report violators, or just chat.

The inability to find out the first two things makes mobile users clueless and not able to battle to their fullest potential.

To solve all of these problems, i'm suggesting that there's a method to access the battle chat.

On the top left corner of the screen, there's a button which leads to a pause menu (it's not really pausing though) with the options Continue, Go To Garage, Exit Battle, and Drop Gold Box. There should be another button that says "Battle Chat" or "See Battle Chat". This button opens a window with the chat logs. That way, players can help and coordinate like on the PC version.

It's said that Tanki will definitely add chats for the mobile versions, but there wasn't any official announcement.

I'd prefer a quick wheel for responses with some basic callouts/directions. Basically just take the existing supplies UI and use it for quick chat binds and such.

Yeah, but Hazel said it would be pointless to add PRO battles to mobile without battle chat, and they do plan to add PRO to mobile. It won't be convenient (you'll only see 2-3 lines of text), but it will work.

 

For MM battles a quick chat wheel would be perfectly fine - that I agree with.

Pretty much what I was going for. With those battles being as short as they are it makes no sense for us to manually type everything.

Hello, I believe that many has said this idea before, but I would very much appreciate it if we as mobile users can be able to communicate to our team in mid battle. Im tired of trying to signal my team mates to use their od if they are dictator, ares and more. And im sure many would like this too.

It's been in the "planned" section of the wiki for around a year, and planned doesn't mean in production. In the last livestream I believe Hazel said that any news regarding the iOS version could come in fall 2021.

@Tiq Thing is you can play pro battles on mobile, you just have to enter it on your PC, then once you're in, it log into tanki on your phone.
