In Clan system (Tanki wiki), you can see that if you hold the position of "Novice", even tho you're considered as part of an in-game clan, you won't benefit from that feature.

 

 

 

P.S: If that's not the case and you believe it's a bug, please do explain more about it but in here instead.

Have checked your settings ?

If i remember correct , Mip-mapping off did by far the most for me . On now a 8y old laptop , it runs most of the time at 60 frames , and normally never drops below 40 fps . Try a few things out , and see the difference what everything makes , btw mipmapping , i didnt see any difference in game , only framerates much higher ( between 20-30 to 40-60 ) . I still got skybox , shadow and fog on .

Literally everything is off except mip mapping(and turning them off literally just makes graphics worse with no improvement). My old laptop had 50-60 fps (intel 4000, it was burning though so i had to play at 20) and now the newer one with dedicated graphics (nvidia mx110) never goes over 40. Other games work completely fine.

 

I have even set the gpu to maximum performance and it does nothing.

Feedback:

 

My Chrome is now updated.

 

When I first went to https://tankionline.com it started loading the HTML5 version.

 

Then I clicked to go back and saw the main page with the address https://tankionline.com/en/

 

There when I click Play, sometimes it goes to HTML5 and sometimes goes to the special site with the 3 options.

 

Apart from sometimes going to HTML5 everything works after using Tanki's instructions about Chrome.

My instructions on how to play Tanki with Chrome after July 30 2019

(this instruction is a little different from the one given by Tanki)

 

 

Step 1: Set the Flash permission to Ask First in Settings

 

• Go here in Chrome: chrome://settings/content/flash (Which is the same as going to: Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Flash)
• Click 'Block sites from running Flash' to change the setting to 'Ask First'
• You can exit Settings now.

 

Step 2: Go to Tanki Online website and Allow Chrome to launch Flash

 

• Go to https://tankionline.com or to https://tankionline.com/battle-en.html if you're getting redirected to HTML5.
• Click on the padlock next to the address bar
• Open the Flash options and click Allow
• Repeat this step after every browser restart.

Did you try Use GPU for client . Right click icon of client and then choose run with GPU ( in your case MX110 ) . Other then that , i cant help .

I literally said i am using the dedicated one. Basic trouble shooting will not help me because i did everything correctly

OK , last try is using the onboard card , instead of your dedicated 1 . You said yourself that you had 40fps on your old computer on the HD4000 , so yes maybe this is a bug or something the mx110 cant work with ... anyway doesnt do any harm to try .

I am only trying to help , since yes , your mx110 should give you 60fps with everything on . Unless off course you try gaming at 4k screen ( or 2 screens ... )

Flash player has no problems going to 60fps but there is another problem, it loads slower and always flushes cache. Integrated graphics do the same. 40fps on client, 60fps on flash. There is something wrong in the client.

 

I have no problems playing with lower fps but if it can work why doesnt it?

I haven't been able to replicate the issue myself. Are the tank stat controls set to those keys in your settings? If yes, then it might be a bug indeed and I'll forward it.

Yes. I even reset the R,V,G keys. The stats and Quick Garage keys are not working for me in HTML5. However, all the other controls work. And there is no issue when using Flash through Chrome - although there are some panels missing on the map at times.

There is a way on Chrome for the process of enabling flash to be both permanent and without having to do anything each time you load it up.

Can we get a move on this html5 client? The current one is so bad I'm literally tempted to stop playing completely. I have so many insults, way too many, for the flash client but I'll keep shut. It's the most frustrating part of the game.

They're working full force on the HTML5 version, and they too want to have it released as soon as possible. It will open a whole lot of new possibilities for them to develop the game. Hopefully we'll get more news about its release in the coming week!
