Challenge tasks that replace challenges.

Good idea .. But if u want it to be implemented you need to do it in a single post ..

We don't accept ideas for increasing rewards. Stars are intentionally made the way they are now in order to create a steady rate of gaining stars for all players, with the best of the best being rewarded with increased rates (from taking 1st places).

Giving flag would be abused, just play with friends and give each other the flag 100 times in a battle.

 

Sharing OD would only work for Dictators and maybe Titan.

 

Restricting certain equipment would only benefit buyers, because they have more equipment to choose from. Restrict one drone and buyers would use another, while non-buyers with one drone will use nothing.

 

Restricting OD... players will forget during battles, use OD, then rage.

he said they will give you tasks depending on your equipment and what you have

1) correction, it's only abusable in groups.

 

2) and that's why I suggested this idea.

 

3) I only said to restrict alterations, ODs (solo battles), and drones.

 

4) like I said, if you don't like the task you were given, you can always change it first for free (once a day), then for a fee.

I fullheartedly disagree. I like the challenges as they are, and they are not "ruining" anything. They enrich the game experience. If some players persistently fail to score well compared to their teammates, they should try harder, improve their skills and learn to understand how to score in the various battle modes. The issues of those people should not stand in the way of all others enjoying the challenges.

Nah they don't.

Most players just camp safely near their base and play TDM, regardless of the actual mode.  Stars are their only focus, not the actual battle-mode.  Kill enough tanks and you get your stars.

Challenges were designed for buyers (Premium, Battle Pass) and try-hards who have no life outside of TO.  Has nothing to do with "learning how to score".  Turn on your hornet OD, point the big gun at an enemy and press space-bar.  wow.

if my memory is right ..did ..we just  have  these along time ago when Seymon when he was  the CM.. I enjoyed doing them until they changed it to what we have now.. I think the main reason why they changed it was due to so many finishing them daily and made it less challenging  for some.. also some only opened up to claim rewards  seeing all they had to do was go into a battle and leave .. those were the good old days of tanki..

The challenge is a good idea but unfortunately there are players who block you when have flag to get you killed so they can cap. this happens every battle you go into to so i agree with diesel it does make players selfish to the point where they mult you in order to gain the stars you have worked hard to get. there is no easy solution to stop these CHEATS in battle....more battle mods would help. there are a lot of players in the forum who might be up for it and it would help curb the cheating especially when the challenge is on. just a thought.

I feel that the real problem with Challenges is that there isn't enough incentive to play the game mode's objective rather than sit back and camp, which is why I suggested this idea to force challenge grinders to either support their team in these modes, or switch to other modes that are already OD grind-fests.

The way the current challenges have changed the community and gameplay and not for the better is becoming more and more apparent than ever. Thus rising the need for the system to change so that battles or the community isn't so affected by challenges.

Completed

The old system of earning stars became secondary, and the main source of stars is now from daily and weekly missions, many of which are identical the tasks you described.
