"High Defence Module System"

How about strengthen one module but weaken others (based on your turret). This idea will be a module alternation rather. It will be ridiculous, stupid, broken, unbalanced or even worse but let's see how this may go.

Equipped Turret: Railgun

Module choice: M4 Eagle Falcon Grizzly

That's 50-50-50

I remembered that wolverine848 once said that even M3 module provides good protection.

If I click on "Equip" for the alternation, result will be this:

35% Shaft defence. A whopping 80% Railgun defence! And the normal 35% Thunder defence.

How it works? To strengthen the module based on your equipped turret, this will downgrade other equipped module to stock Modification (i.e M2 0/10, M3 0/15) except Spider. But when clicking "Equip" for factory setting, it will restore all equipped module back to unaltered state.

Other scenario:

Equipped turret: Isida

M3 15/15 Orka

M2 3/10 Ocelot

M3 4/15 Griffin

That's 50-28-39

When equipping the alternation:

35% Striker, 47% Isida and 35% Magnum defence.

Declined

First of all, 80% anything seems terrible for gameplay. I doubt it will ever happen.

Second, it makes the modules system too complicated.

And third, I'm pretty sure it gives players a significant advantage, since they can just upgrade one or two modules to M4 and then equip those with other less upgraded modules to increase their protection for free.

But, but module is too expensive nowadays. I don't mind this idea get declined though, as I said this is overpowered. And it is an alternation.

Of course they are expensive - because they are very useful.  Players have to make tough decisions - what to sacrifice to get more/better modules.

Alterations are not supposed to make things more OP... (even tough there are exceptions...)

For me, the current module system is not really useful. I prefer the old module system because it's cheaper to buy and upgrade.

If you are in a battle and all your enemies use the same turret against you, I would agree to have only 1 protection module that would give 80% to 90% protection for only 1 turret.

Then if you want to boost protection value from Falcon module, then you will need M4 Falcon, Lion and Orka. And equip Railgun too.

The problem is the price, they made it too expensive.

All modules:

1 M0 = 5,000, 14 M0 = 70,000

1 M1 = 30,000, 14 M1 = 420,000

1 M2 = 100,000, 14 M2 = 1,400,000

1 M3 = 250,000, 14 M3 = 3,500,000

1 M3+ = 450,000, 14 M3+ = 6,300,000

1 Module total = 835,000, 14 Modules total = 11,690,000

Should cost half.

I agree.

It is not right to have too much protection against any turret. You can't have your shots take a minimal effect!

Well, it got declined. I was expecting that LOL.
