About Demonic Skins

Currently the only Demonic skin that exists is for Firebird. That skin was available during a weeklong event during Halloween 2018 celebrations, and according to the wiki, is not available in Containers.

 

So, will the rest of the turrets and hulls ever get Demonic Skins, and will they all be available from Challenges/Containers? It doesn't really make sense to have it only on Firebird and no other turret and hull.

i think it comes for halloween only, but until the prime skins in challenges are over, i don't think so.  :ph34r:

Currently there is no information about demonic skin being added for other turrets and/or hulls. Also, the skin was available for purchase during the Black Friday celebration in 2018.

I think developers are now busy with HTML version and they'll release demonic skins for all turrets & hulls when they're not busy with these important stuff  :)

The teams who work on the cosmetics (skins paints etc) are separate from the main development team. Hazel, one of the lead developers mentioned during a live steam that once the design team has come up with a paint it takes no more than a few minutes for the development team to add it to the game. An interesting tidbit for ya. :p

Demonic is okay for Fire, but imagine a demonic for Freeze... Nope. Instead Freeze could have something like a Big Foot or Polar Bear themed skin, because a Freeze with a paint that looks like it's burning inside wouldn't make sense.

Or a "Cryo Freeze" skin, when there's a whole lot of blueish liquid around the pump, and looks like a Sabre-toothed tiger, but not with the XT skin colors. Or an Arctic Fox skin, called "Freeze Subzero"

I am sure they won't be for turrets and hulls and containers too.. because it's just a halloween skin and not a skin like XT or Prime..

Even Legacy is a Special Skin that is not available anywhere else.

I do like the idea of making skins for indivual weapons . Not for hulls , hull got the XTs . Turrets got XT also , but it has got to do something with the stats of the item . For firebird Demonic is logic , Freeze something ice themed , Isida indeed something vampirish ( idea for Haloween ? ) , those are easy . The others are more difficult , but Gauss something with Rabbit theme ( hey after all , dress up the ears and your done :P  ) .

There are currently 3 ways to introduce a new skin: bundle, gold tier and war.

I agree.

I wish every year on Halloween, they release a new Demonic Skin (although since it's one a year, it will take 2 or 3 decades to finish).
